"Hey you, come here." I point to the little one and gesture for her to sit next to me. She wiggles and squirms while I braid her hair. Helping Cindy watch the pups after dinner, I take turns with all the little girls. When I am all done, I help clean up the mess of toys in the corner of the play area. Cindy asks, "Is everything going to quiet down now?" Shrugging, I hesitate and then answer some what unsure of myself, "You know, I don't have a clue. It's been a couple days and no attacks, but that doesn't mean they have quit. If anything it worries me more." She frowns and stares at the little ones playing duck duck goose. When she turns back to me, she says, "I won't be able to take anymore of this. When the pack house burnt down, I didn't know if the kids were in it or not.
