"What are you doing here, Pumpkin?"  My dad asks before he sees Alpha Eric coming in behind me and quickly lowers his eyes. "Eric drove me home and I need to pick up my things.  I will be living at the pack house from now on."  Shocked, I guess they thought that I would be staying there and have my things sent for.  Walking in, my mom smiles at me but then immediately looks down. My dad nods to Eric and then says warmly with mischief in his eyes, "I see you met our Alpha Eric finally.  Did you get acquainted last night during the Full Moon event?"  Knowing full well that we did by his flared nostrils, he chuckles and then gives me a big hug.  Offering a firm hand, he says to Eric with respect, "Welcome, son.  You are not only our Alpha, but you are our son now too."Watching this odd exchange, my mom stands back and waits till I turn to her.  She says lovingly, "I have waited for a long time f

The doctor checks my wound after taking off the bandages, declaring me all healed up.  He reminds me, "Now, don't forget to still be careful twisting and turning for a couple of days, otherwise it will reopen."  He points at me, looking sternly and then smiles because I can't help but laugh.  Of course, it still hurts when I do, so I immediately regret it.   Today is the day I get to start to feel back to normal.  No more getting carried everywhere by the Alpha and worshipped by the Alpha and hugged and kissed by the Alpha.  Oh who am I kidding, I loved every bit of it.
