CHAPTER  FIFTY: END OF PART ONE         Two minutes into the fight and I was already bleeding from my fore head.          "I gave you an opportunity to be a part of something marvelous as my uprising but you tossed it away." Maribel said as she toyed with her sword.         The pain from my leg had become unbearably painful and I was left with only one functional leg.         I rose up shakily from the ground where I had been thrown violently to by Maribel.

PART TWO: CHAPTER FIFTY ONE      Lord Jordan Saints POV       I walked out to the wide and beautiful garden and watched as the soothing snow fell upon the white flowers.           The frosty morning breeze blew past my long blonde hair as I caught some snowflakes falling from the grey and cloudless sky.            It seemed like the perfect Christmas morning until I heard my mother scream.         My heart jumped as I raced out of the garden. I followed her voic

Chapter 52

HILLARY'S POV   I ran into the castle building with Brianna trailing behind me.        "Chris!" I yelled. "Chris!" "He should be at the council room." Brianna said.      "Where is that?" I asked as I bent down a little to catch my breath.      "I heard from a maid that it's on this floor." Brianna said.         "That doesn't help at all, as it would take us weeks to cover this whole floor." I said in disappointment.

The doors were opened and I could see the crowd before me. A crowd of polished men gathered around in with their witty faces staring at me. The guards pulled me back and out of the room but before they could shut the door, I heard a deep supercilious voice telling the guards to leave me. The guards dropped me on the floor, harshly, then turned away, shutting the mighty doors of the council room. I helped myself up to my feet, despite my newly bruised elbow which bled slightly and stung me. On the floor at my front was Maribel, with her face and body bloody and bruised up. She was on her knees and was chained all around like an animal. I glared deeply at Chris who looked suddenly embarrassed as he couldn't even look at me. "Who are you? And what do you want?" I heard the cracked, gravy voice of an old man ask. "You can't tell you've risked your life daring to barge into this gathering all for nothing. So, don't waste our time and spit out yo

Chapter 54

Lord Saints POV Watching her walk through the doors of the council had reignited some of the feelings I thought was lost in me.         I never knew I could detest someone so much. I never thought that I could have so much hatred welled up in me after several years.          Anyway, she was here. And I could finally have my revenge against Anna and her daughter. I had nothing to do with the other hunter girl on the floor. Apart from the fact that she was a leader of a rebellion, who caused the death of almost two hundred lycans during the explosion, she hadn't done something as horrible as her sister, whose boldness and bravery stung me in my heart.

Chapter 55

Hillary's POVI woke up with an aching head and an exhausted body.        Where am i? I wondered as I stared around.       Ordinarily, I would have said I was in a majestic room, but with the drip stands and the hospital equipments around, I knew I was in some kind of home clinic.        I tried rising up despite my pounding head. "Damn!" I exclaimed as I recalled everything that had happened earlier.        "Maribel?" I said as I struggled to sit down.    &

Chapter 56

I hurried out of the room to avoid being pinched by the old nurse as my nose still hurt from the previous attack. I found myself in a the front of several passage leading to numerous rooms, chambers and other passages. And I didn't know where to go. From behind me, I heard the old nurse yell. "Why are you standing like a statue, don't you know the grand master would be waiting." "I don't know where to go!" I replied. "And standing there staring like a dumbo would help you in anyway? She yelled at me in annoyance. "C'mon, don't be a chicken and try the passages one after the other." "One after the other!" I said. "That way, it would take me decades to get out of here." She smiled. "You're still young. You wouldn't be too old when you get out." I grumbled. "C'mon granny, help me out." She feigned a frown. "Don't call me granny, you'll make me sound old." "But you're an old…" Her eyes glared at me. "Don't you dare finish tha

Chapter 57

"My mother?"       This couldn't be true. My mother was dead. Gladys had told me months ago in that foul-smelling cellar. But did she actually tell me… or did I just assume that my mother was dead.   Flashback: When I saw her, I threatened that if she alerted the guards outside, I would end the both of you in my arms. She loved the two of you too much, so I was able to control her. I led her out of the safehouse and then into my rickety car and then...I took her to the famous Lycans and sold her as a sex slave for a few bills.      Now I remembered. Gladys

Chapter 58

Lord Saints POV       It had been three days since my encounter with the hunter girl and still my mind wasn't at rest.        Had I been too harsh? Had I been too wicked? Did I do the right thing? Was that the perfect way of handling her?      "Yes!" Scarlett replied.         I had invited Scarlett earlier to my chambers as my mind was too troubled for me to handle by myself. It had been decades since I had been as worried as I was. And I thought it best to share my thoughts with Scarlett as she was one of the closest persons to me and was someone I somewhat trusted, and

Chapter 59

Although it has been years since that had happened, it was still so real and fresh in my memory, like it had happened a few moments ago.         My father, Cornelius Saints, had been a great king and a great friend to his people, but I, Lord Saints, have been a greater king, emperor, master and god of all supernaturals, and I have done a better job in protecting my people. I'd ruled for almost two decades with no occurrence of war, which beats every history of every other king. I'd brought order into the supernatural world, I'd created a balance between supernaturals and humans, something that had always been a problem for all the past rulers.           But now, after almost twenty years of peace, a sign of chaos threatened it's way into my world, and the source of
