Monday morning, I came downstairs to have breakfast carrying my bag. Ryan left last night as he already missed so many classes. Peter and Kristina are still here. I sat quietly on the couch while Kristina started lecturing Jason how he should try to come early and spend time with me. I pity the poor guy, he came around midnight from the office and she isn't letting him eat his dinner in peace. As much as I love it when he gets roasted by his mom, I want him to have his dinner in peace. He needed it. Everyone needed it.I walked to the dining hall and saw Jason and Peter both picking and playing with their food with their heads downcast without eating."It's okay, Kristina. Let them have their dinner." I told her stopping a few feet away from the table."No, it's not okay. This is all Pete's fault. He is setting a bad example to his sons that it's okay to work till late night and neglect the wife." She glared at Peter.Peter snapped his neck to Kristina, opened his mouth to retort back but again closed it with a sigh. Who is she scolding here? Peter or Jason? Or using Jason to scold Peter?

The next morning I was woken by a hand brushing my hair fondly. I leaned closer into the warmth. The hairs falling on my face were tucked behind my ear. I opened my eyes drowsily and saw Jason sitting beside me on the bed.I smiled at him sadly wishing to never wake up from this dream and closed my eyes but again snap opened them when I heard him say,"I am gone not even for a week and you made me come running back to you. Why can't you take care of yourself? The number of calls I received because of you." He shook his head in disappointment.I blinked my eyes rapidly. Is he here? Is this not a dream? At night I received a call from Reeva and Mandy checking how I was doing."Seriously guys. I'm fine.""You are coming to college tomorrow?" Mandy asked me."Yes. We will talk tomorrow?" I asked tired"Yes, sure."After I cut the call I saw messages from Paige and Cynthia and few others. I don't have the energy to deal with their assumptions here.*******"Are you sure you want to go to college today? Are you okay facing him? You could take a day off, you know? You still look pale." Jason's voice boomed through my ears, while I sat playing around with my fruit loops."I already missed so many classes. I don't want to miss them more because of Zack."
