2024-10-29 19:42:56The next morning I was woken by a hand brushing my hair fondly. I leaned closer into the warmth. The hairs falling on my face were tucked behind my ear. I opened my eyes drowsily and saw Jason sitting beside me on the bed.
I smiled at him sadly wishing to never wake up from this dream and closed my eyes but again snap opened them when I heard him say,
"I am gone not even for a week and you made me come running back to you. Why can't you take care of yourself? The number of calls I received because of you." He shook his head in disappointment.
I blinked my eyes rapidly. Is he here? Is this not a dream? I raised my hand to touch his cheek. Jason looked surprised by my action for a second and then placed his hand on mine.
