Her eyes gently fluttered open as a chill ran through her. She found herself laying on the cool forest floor. Slowly sitting up she looked around before the evenings events played over in her mind. She quickly rose to Yelp as her knees spiked in pain. The small bruises have worsened and her pants where not big enough to support the swelling. They suffocated them, pressing on a few spots spiking the pain. She wanted to cry but knew she couldn’t.Her eyes fell on the dying embers, her heart dropped as she looked over at the man.
