A chill settled in when she felt Derek let her go. She wanted to complain but she just wasn’t able to. Her body betrayed her as she fought for it to do something. Anya slowly started to feel the warmth of her body as it lay comfortable on the supportive mattress. A small weight in her stomach caused no discomfort.
