*Kane's POV*When Lucas walks out of earshot, I look back towards Violet and ask, “Are you trying to kill me with that shirt?“Maybe,” she replies with a smirk.“So devious,” I reply and fight back a smile. Before she can reply, Lucas walks back in with my drink and says, “You know, you are allowed to sit on the furniture.”I roll my eyes but take a seat on the armchair closest to where Violet is sitting on the couch.
