*Violet's POV*
I knock on Lucas’s front door and he opens it with a giant smile on his face and then hugs me.
“Happy Birthday!” I say hugging him back.
“Thank you! Come in, come in!”
He guides me through the front door and I see that his house is equally as extravagant as Harper’s.
“So, lunch with your mom, huh? What was that all about?”
“Ugh, don’t even get me started. Mom wanted a girls morning so we went out to get our nails done and then for lunch like we used to do when I was little which was super nice so I agreed and then we got to lunch and guess who was there?”

*Kane's POV*When Lucas walks out of earshot, I look back towards Violet and ask, “Are you trying to kill me with that shirt?“Maybe,” she replies with a smirk.“So devious,” I reply and fight back a smile.
