Adonis The first time I saw her was outside the main door of the nightclub at Mellow street.  It's been so long since a woman had gotten my attention and not only was I mesmerized by her red hair but also by the way my heart skipped when her eyes met mine for just a second. I almost held my breath at that moment. Everything else was invisible and all I could see was her. She might not have seen me through the black tinted windows of my car but those eyes let on more than it appears. She looked troubled as if looking for something.  I didn't get the opportunity to talk to her; I lost sight of her. As I turned to direct my driver to stop the vehicle at that point, I'd lost her. She wasn't there anymore. 

Adonis' PovMy victim was writhing in my hands as I fed on me. Angrily, I dropped the body loudly on the floor, after feeding with his blood. I normally do not feed on living souls but one particular delicious blood has left me wanting more than usual. I usually go for blood donated in the hospital or wild animals to feed on but until I sunk my fangs into Bella's neck and had a taste of her blood, I went rabid, wanting to taste her over and over again. The man I just dropped on the floor was dead even though that wasn't my intention. Adonis' POVI never expected such a thing to happen, not after these people have been silent for such a long time. Fun fact people: I wrote this chapter twice. I don't know how it happened but the first one got deleted and it took me like three days of lamenting, crying and throwing unnecessary tantrums about it before I could bring myself back to write it again.
