By the end of the month, the old Banker's Trust building had a new owner. Old Wilson was able to push through the sale in record time. The asking price was $500 million. But Old Wilson offered $300 million as a starting point with which to have room to bargain. Suprisingly, the original owners jumped at the chance to make a quick sale. They were in need of cash, and since the building had no debts against it, it was the only asset they had to draw cash from. Old Wilson found a good real estate lawyer, and together, they were able to push through all the inspections and licences needed to get a Certificate of Occupancy. All that was left now was to renovate the floors that RBG LLC would use. The building was 48 floors. The top two were the executive suites.
