[Kael]After talking to Aira and Terrence, I decided to investigate more on the mysterious person that's been supporting Natalia. I had thought that Natalia probably tricked someone in London to give her some funding. What kind of person would just let someone do illegal things under their funding? I don't think someone would be that stupid however, I could be wrong. There's a possibility that that person could have known about everything and is still willing to help Natalia despite all of the illegal things she's been doing. I also hired investigators in London to help with the search. Any information on that person could change everything. "The launch is tomorrow, are you still busy checking everything?" Terrence walked into my office and asked me about the launch. I've been busy about the whole launch as well as the investigation about Amelia that I barely slept. [Terrence]We arrived at the hotel and it was already swarming with journalists. While walking towards the entrance, I could hear the journalists throwing questions at me like what our thoughts were about our competitors releasing a product ahead of us and how we’re dealing with the random rumors circulating online. I just ignored all of them and continued to walk and enter the hotel. I held Aira’s hands tight so she wouldn’t feel burdened by the flashing lights and the journalists’ questions. When we entered the function hall, I saw Kael was already there. He was talking to some of the investors who showed up. “Mr. Pearce.” I called out to him and shook his hands. [Terrence]The following morning, I picked up Aira at her house and we proceeded to drive over to the apartment complex. Kael just texted me that he’s waiting for Natalia outside of the hotel she’s staying in. I took out the bottle of beer that Kael gave us and I climbed up the stairs through the fire exit and I went to room 407 and dropped the bottle by the door and I made sure to knock too so the guy inside comes out and sees the bottle. Aira was staying in the car while I was inside the apartment. I needed her to stay outside just in case anything happens. She’s also in charge of calling the cops but only after I send her the signal to do so. I need to make sure that the guard is knocked out before. Kael said that it would only take at least 5 minutes for the medicine to kick in. I waited by the fire exit for 5 minutes. To test if the

“Amelia?” The moment I entered the room, I noticed how messy it was. There were scattered sloths on the floor, bits and pieces of paper which I assume are receipts from the pharmacy. I walked inside trying to find Amelia or anyone. I saw the door to the bedroom was slightly ajar so I proceeded to walk over there with caution. As I opened the door further, I saw her. “Amelia?” I called out. She was laying on the bed, on her side and her back was turned to me. When I called out her name, she flinched and was surprised. Maybe she was surprised to hear someone else’s voice all this time. “Terrence?” Her voice was weak and it cracked all too easily. She only said my name but it felt like she didn’t have the strength to say anything. She sat up and turned to me. She had grown thin and pale, totally different

“Are you her immediate family?” The doctor asked. Before I could answer, Aira answered and told the doctor that we were Amelia’s family. The doctor nodded and told us about her condition.  “She’s severely malnourished. If you would have taken her here any later, it would have been too late. She fainted due to malnourishment and fatigue. It’s not good for an expecting mother to be under constant stress like this. We’ll do our best to give her what she needs. In the meantime, I highly suggest for her to stay in the hospital so we’ll be able to do all the tests to see if anything else is wrong with her.” The doctor said. I nodded and told him that we’ll follow his advice.  While waiting for Amelia to be transferred to a room, Aira and I sat down on the available chairs in the waiting room. Aira rested her head on my shoulder and I heard her sigh.
