The following morning, I picked up Aira at her house and we proceeded to drive over to the apartment complex. Kael just texted me that he’s waiting for Natalia outside of the hotel she’s staying in. “Are you her immediate family?” The doctor asked. Before I could answer, Aira answered and told the doctor that we were Amelia’s family. The doctor nodded and told us about her condition. “She’s severely malnourished. If you would have taken her here any later, it would have been too late. She fainted due to malnourishment and fatigue. It’s not good for an expecting mother to be under constant stress like this. We’ll do our best to give her what she needs. In the meantime, I highly suggest for her to stay in the hospital so we’ll be able to do all the tests to see if anything else is wrong with her.” The doctor said. I nodded and told him that we’ll follow his advice. While waiting for Amelia to be transferred to a room, Aira and I sat down on the available chairs in the waiting room. I loosened my tie before I tried to call Terrence to tell him that Natalia was being arrested. He wasn't picking up so I assumed he still had his hands full with taking care of Amelia. As she was being taken away, I refused to answer any of her questions. "Why did you do this to me, Kael? I thought you loved me." Those words triggered me. I turned to face her and I couldn;t stop myself from saying anything. "I did love you, Natalia. But that was a long long time ago and I realized that I was being delusional when I tried to love someone like you." I told her straight to her face. She looked confused and then she started laughing, laughing like a crazy person. The policemen looked at her and realized that she was probably mentally ill. I told the policemen to take her away. B
