Colton's arm was bleeding from a cut. However, he couldn't be bothered about it now. He just stumbled forward and asked, "What's wrong, Gi—"

As soon as his gaze rested on Darlene's bag on the ground, he immediately froze.

He knew that there was nothing he could say that could ever salvage the situation anymore.

I took the divorce agreement from my bag and handed it to him.

"Sign this. I have nothing more to say to you."

Colton took a while to finally snap back to his senses. He opened his mouth feebly and spoke in a shaky voice, "C-Can you please forgive me one more time?"

His eyes were full of hope, but I shook my head decisively.

Colton slumped dejectedly onto a chair and asked with difficulty, "Do you still not believe that I love you?

"I've already explained things to Darlene. The kid won't have anything to do with me. After she gives birth to the baby, she'll go abroad with it to take care of it. We won't be seeing each other again."

I sighed.
