Softly, Jason comforted Jean, "Don't say that, silly. This wasn't your fault. Don't worry, I'll find the best doctor to cure your illness!"

"You're the best, Jace," Jean replied. "I'm glad to have you by my side. Where's Chelsea? Why isn't she here?"

Jason's face stiffened for a second before his expression smoothed over. "Don't worry about her. She somehow found a corpse to impersonate herself just so she could escape punishment. I'm having an autopsy done on the body right now.

"I don't think you know this, but her mentor was a known necromancer, so I wouldn't put it past her."

"I didn't know Chelsea knew that stuff." Jean looked uneasy for a moment.

"That's all in the past! Don't worry about her. Let me take you back," Jason said with a look of disdain.

No matter how many times I explained to Jason that I knew nothing about necromancy, he refused to believe me.

As he carried Jean back to his room, he tripped over something and fell on top of her. Jean immediately blushed.
