Back then, we'd only registered our marriage in the city hall. We never held a wedding, so no one outside the family knew that I was Jason's wife.

He had told me, at the time, that he would hold our wedding when York Corporation was listed.

I'd agreed to that stupidly. Then, after his company was listed, he was too busy with his work. He only agreed to the wedding six months ago, when I finally reminded him about it.

When we first registered our marriage, he had been attentive to my likes and dislikes. When he found out that I liked apricots, he planted apricot trees in the backyard.

Every time I had to use my spiritual energy to help the York family, I would get a fever and eat a lot more to compensate for the energy loss.

Before, he would explore different cuisines and cook for me himself.

He had been so good to me that I fell deeply in love with him. I did not even care that I was exhausting my spiritual energy for him.
