Chapter 6

After going through excruciating pain, Winnie saw red and passed out amid Sean's scream.

She woke up in the hospital. Realizing something, she yelled, "My phone! Give me back my phone!"

Sean wasn't around. Instead, his assistant, Aaron Rhodes, was there to help. Aaron handed her a new phone, saying, "Your phone's broken. Sean wants you to focus on getting better. Also, Mr. Quillon has called the police. You should stay out of this matter."

Winnie mumbled, "But Catherina isn't that type of person!"

Aaron put on a disdainful look. "The entire Quillon family has heard about the incident now. Please do not get involved. You don't want to drag Sean into the mess."

Winnie pinched her palm while staring at Aaron. "Please leave the room. I need some peace and quiet."

Since Matt had filed a police report, it was a matter of time before he approached her. And she wanted to clear my name with the copy she made of that photo.
