My husband and Fiona had a big argument.

When I saw the latter the following day, she had a big black eye. My husband was probably responsible for it.

I then deliberately told Jack to give some of my information away. This allowed my husband and Fiona to realize that I had set them up.

It was about time for me to come clean with my husband.

He looked at the surveillance footage I sent him with a dark face.

"When did you find out?" he asked.

I looked at him indifferently. "Does it even matter?"

I swallowed and tried to quibble. "You want to divorce me because of this? We've been married for decades and you want to divorce me because of such a small mistake that any man in the world would make? Besides, you've set me up once as well. Let's call it even. Can't you think of our son? If he becomes someone from a single-parent family, it will be hard for him to find a girlfriend in the future."
