At that moment, the door was opened and my son was dumbfounded at the sight.

An angry look appeared on his face. "Mom, Jason, what are you doing?"

Jason and I immediately separated. Both of us were panicking but forced ourselves to pretend to be calm. "I sprained my ankle, so I asked Jason to give me a massage."

"That's right. Mrs. Jackson sprained her ankle," said Jason.

He tried to look calm but his voice still trembled a little.

My son clearly didn't believe us and his eyes turned red. "Why were you hugging if you've sprained your ankle? Where's Dad? Why didn't you ask him to give you a massage?"

"Ben, are you doubting my words or did you think that as your mother something would happen between me and your classmate?" I said seriously.

My son frowned but didn't say anything else.

He probably thought that I had a point, so he led Jason into his room to play games.

I stood at the door and made sure they were playing games before I felt relieved.
