Chapter 28 Hiding in the Study

Zacharias' face darkened. This was a stain on his life that he had not accepted yet.

He had been with his fiance since high school, and yet she slept with another man. He even caught her red-handed at the hotel.

She was very protective of her lover and refused to tell him who that man was. She even bore him a child.

"Yvonne, you were looking at schools for your kid, right? Steven's son owns a house in a district with very good schools. They have everything from kindergartens to high schools. Marry him, and your problem is solved," Lara said indifferently.

Yvonne didn't know how far else they would go. All she knew was the fiery sensation of pain coming from her scalded hand.

She was too afraid to fight back and did not argue back.
