Grabbing a bottle of champagne and two flutes in the other hand, Carrie removed a tiny tube from her purse and emptied its contents in one of the glasses.

She turned to look around but no one was there.

Xavier will soon be in his suite.

She quickly filled the two glasses with the champagne and sipped from one.

“I promise you, Xavier, today, our lives will change forever!” She happily smirked to herself and gulped everything.

Carrie refilled her flute and Xavier walked in.

He paused briefly at the door.

" What are you doing here?” He asked, pulling off his suit jacket and sat at the edge of the bed.

“I wanted us to celebrate the success of yet another partnership with a mob boss" She picked the two glasses and walked to him, swaying her hips.

“I'm not really in the mood, Carrie" He dismissively said.

“C’mon" Stoped in front of him and looked at him with a sad sigh. “I miss my friend. When was the last time we hung out? Or had a drink together?”
