My day receded too soon after my brief bump-in with Lisa. Since then she’d been the sole operator of my scattered mind.

I yearned to know her actual relationship with Lucas, it was more than each of them told me it is. On Lucas’ part, it’s more than the King and subject liaison, and on Lisa’s side; hers is just plain confusing to put a term on.

Is she attracted to Lucas and wanted her for herself? Or is she an ex of his he dumped right after he met me? Too many questions and complicated theories on Lisa’s part.

But what I do know is that there is something beyond a nominal relationship between the both of them.
