Deena rushed into the room in broad turbulence, dread etched all over her face as she ran to me.

“Logan we’re screwed, we’re fucking screwed, Logan!” She cried in pure panic as she held my wrists, “We need to leave, we need to go right now.” She made to drag me up.

I withdrew her hold and held her back instead, “What’s going on? What happened?” I asked, my brows furrowed in confusion.

We’d retire to our room here at the guest house when she requested me to locate Myra’s room for her, she’d said she wanted to go talk and convince her further, and seeing the little impact her words had on her back at the first room we met her; I thought why not. Perhaps Myra might listen to her if she has something good to say.
