STEPHANIE'S POV:
Diamond had such a healthy glow after our breakup that even I didn't recognise him at first. It had been years since he disappeared after our breakup, and his sudden appearance surprised me. I was extremely shocked to see Diamond; in fact, I never imagined we would ever cross paths again after what happened between us. I was stunned to find out my ex was the groom's son and ring bearer. How come Diamond is here after his disappearance? Why exactly is he here, and why would he agree to his father marrying my mom? I have to find out. I watched as he opened the wedding ring box and offered the ring to Logan. I still find it hard to believe what my eyes are seeing. Was I dreaming? How could Diamond be Logan's son, and I never knew? Diamond never mentioned his father to me, nor did he introduce me to him. At least mom could have told me he had a son. I could have looked into it. Logan took the ring from the box before Diamond stepped back and glanced at me with his charming emerald eyes. I quickly looked away to avoid meeting his gaze. He still had his charm, I see. Like a father, like a son. Last time I saw him, he didn't look as incredibly attractive and stylish as he does now. His glow-up is indeed very impressive. Wealth really does change people. "Say after me, Logan," the pastor said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I needed to focus on the wedding first before dealing with Diamond. I reassured myself and glanced up at him. He was smirking at me with a devilish grin, while his mischievous gaze lingered at me in admiration. Some things never change. "'I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love,'" Logan echoed after the pastor, placing the ring on my mom's finger. I wondered why Diamond was here, besides being the groomsman. He must have known his father was dating my mom and allowed this to happen, perhaps to get back at me or to get closer to me. I pondered over his motives. "The ring, Stephanie." I heard my mom's voice, snapping me out of my contemplation once again. "Oh!" I exclaimed, quickly retrieving the ring box from my small waist purse and opening it for my mom. "What's wrong with you? You're acting so strange all of a sudden," my mom whispered to me as she took the ring, and I simply smiled at her. My mom repeated the same statement Logan had made as she placed the ring on his finger. "You two should join hands," the pastor said. My mom offered me her bridal bouquet to hold before they did. As they held each other's hands, they gazed into each other's eyes. I don't know about Logan, but I could tell my mom was looking at him with eyes full of love and passion. Turning to the guests, the pastor continued, "If anyone objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace." No one objected to their union. "By virtue of the authority vested in me under the laws of the State of Florida, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the pastor declared, turning to Logan. "You may now kiss your bride.” Logan lifted my mom's veil, slowly revealing her face. He smiled as he locked eyes with her, filling my mom with joy. She smiled back at him, gazing at the incredibly hot, handsome man she was about to marry. She knew she was fortunate to have him; others might envy her, but certainly not me. Well, I can't deny that. Of course, I do envy her, but I'm glad she's happy with him. She's never been this happy since my father left our lives. Staring into my mom's eyes, Logan tenderly cupped her face with both hands. He lowered his face onto hers, pressing his lips against hers and sealing their vows with a deep, passionate kiss with his tongue intertwining with hers. My mom eagerly responded to his kiss, and witnessing it all in front of me made me feel conflicted-disgusted yet oddly thrilled. A shiver ran down my spine as Logan gently grazed my mom's lower lip with his teeth as they slowly disengaged from the kiss. That was fucking hot, and I could feel myself blushing already. The crowd roared as they rose from their seats, applauding enthusiastically. The photographer swiftly moved in to capture the moment, their cameras flashing from different angles. I smiled sweetly at the camera while stealing a glance at Diamond, who remained standing nearby. Even without smiling, he still looks good for the camera. "It is my great honour and happy privilege to introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. Logan and Jessica Knight! Let's congratulate them with a round of applause!" The pastor announced after the kiss, and the crowd continued to cheer louder, showering the newlyweds with applause and flowers at the altar. My mother was overjoyed; she smiled broadly and even laughed as she faced the crowd, while Logan maintained a casual, composed expression. I wondered if he wanted this wedding at all. I handed my mom her bouquet of flowers, and she held them with tears in her eyes. She hugged me tightly, and I returned the embrace, patting her back. "Take it easy now, mom; I'm very happy for you." “Really?" she asked unbelievably. I know I was against the wedding earlier, but my mom's happiness really matters deeply to me now. At least for the time being, they'll have to leave the house for me and go on their honeymoon to go fuck however they want. I don't really care. I guess. "Yes," I responded honestly. The photographer snapped pictures of me, my mom, her husband, and then my ex, Diamond, capturing all of us at the altar. Logan held my mom's hand and gently led her outside the church to take more pictures with invited guests and family. I noticed that neither of the Knight families showed up—only Logan and his son, who turned out to be my ex. I wouldn't be worried about it if Diamond hadn't attended the wedding, so I find all this suspicious. My mom threw her bridal bouquet, and one of the guests eagerly jumped up to catch it. She screamed in excitement when she grabbed it, and I noticed the disappointed look on my mom's face. I knew she had hoped I would be the one to catch the bouquet, but I'm not ready for that now, nor am I ready to get married or even plan for it yet. There are a lot of responsibilities involved in that, which I'm not ready to take. Whatever it is, I don't really care. I was just taking wedding pictures with my mom and grandpa when Diamond joined us without my notice. Out of nowhere, he whispered into my ear, "You should have caught that bouquet, so I could have a 99% chance of marrying you." I felt my whole body vibrate, and my nipples painfully hardened the instant as I heard his voice. I just realised I could easily get sexually active after the encounter Logan had with my mother. I quickly snapped out of my trance and said, "We need to talk," while grabbing Diamond's wrist and pulling him behind the church where no one would see us.STEPHANIE'S POVI pushed him into a corner before joining him. "Diamond, what are you doing here?" I asked quietly, making sure no one outside could hear us, though I doubted they would ever hear us.Diamond smirked like a maniac and leaned against the church wall. Ignoring my question, he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket. Holding it between his middle and index fingers, he placed it between his lips and took out a lighter. He cupped his hand around the cigarette, flicked the lighter, and lit it on fire. Before he could take a drag of smoke off the cigarette, I yanked it from his hand, dropped it on the ground, and stomped on it, smashing it hard to make sure it was ruined so he wouldn't pick it up and use it again. Diamond knew how much I hated to see him smoke in front of me; I had warned him about it in the past. The smell of smoke disgusted me, and the last thing I wanted was to stand here inhaling it while I spoke with him."I asked you a question, Diamond. Don't you dare
My stomach fluttered, and my cheeks burned as my face reddened in embarrassment. Hearing his muscular voice utter those naughty words gave me a rush of pleasure that made my panties become moist.I pushed him away from me, feeling a mix of emotions.Diamond stepped back from the force I used, chuckling as I said, “You're dreaming; go to hell." I hurried out of the corner before him, determined not to let him drive me crazy, and I could feel his smirk as he watched me leave.“Don't act like you don't want me to!” I heard him utter behind me in a mocking tone. He knew all too well that I had fallen for his charm. Thank goodness this is the last wedding I will attend, and hopefully I won't have to see him again after all this is over. "Oh my God, Stephanie, where have you been? We were just about to leave, and you've gone missing. I was so freaking scared I lost you," my mom said, running towards me before pulling me into a hug. Diamond was right; my mom really thought I went missing. I'
STEPHANIE POVMy eyes snapped open from the darkness, and I heavily gasped for breath, feeling as though I had been struggling for air for some time.Glancing around, I realised I was still inside the car, illuminated only by the dim dome light that flickered weakly, threatening to fade at any moment. Turning to my left, I saw my mom lying on the passenger seat beside me, blood trickling from a wound on her head. It appeared she must have struck her head hard against the front seat."Oh my God," I whimpered silently before looking ahead to the driver's seat. There, I saw my stepfather's body slumped over the steering wheel, his face covered in blood, most of it dripping from his hand onto the wheel itself, staining it crimson.I wanted to scream, but I pressed my left hand firmly against my lips to hold myself back from doing so. The car reeked of blood, causing me to gag in disgust. I have a strong hatred for anything bloody, especially if it comes from a human being.I began sweatin
I was taken aback by the sight of my extremely hot and handsome stepdad. His hair was messy, as if he had been running his fingers through it for a long time. The sight of him made my nipples stiffen, protruding under my white dress."I'm dreaming," I whispered to myself, but he must have overheard me as his deep, masculine voice responded, "No, you're not." Hearing that, I felt my heart skip a beat."I'm glad you're finally awake," he said as his handsome face came into view.I realised I wasn't dreaming when my stepdad came into my line of sight. "Oh my God!" I exclaimed, bolting upright from the fluffy pillows on the bed and leaning against the headboard in shock to really see my stepdad. I tried to move my hands, only to realise they were tied to the headboard. I wondered how long I had been asleep.I struggled to free myself, jerking my wrists and legs, but realised they were restrained by leather cuffs attached to the bed frame. All four of my limbs were secured to the four corn
"Ha", I chuckled, thinking this must be a nightmare or my brain playing tricks on me. My stepdad is a kind, gentle man. Even though I barely know him, I believe he could never do this to me, especially when he is married to my mother. He loves her too much, enough not to hurt her, and we both know that if my mom finds out about this, it could end their relationship."I don't believe it," I said, trying to convince myself, but Logan's words made me face the harsh truth."You've been kidnapped, Stephanie!" Logan made it clear to me, and that's when the reality finally sank in."No, no, no, please let me go! I need to find my mom!" I screamed, pulling as hard as I could against the cuffs, but it only tightened its grips and dug deeper into my skin.I groaned, frustrated and shocked that my stepfather could do this to me. "What? What do you want from me? Why have you kidnapped me?" I demanded, desperate for a reasonable explanation. He didn't respond and just kept staring at me while I st
"You should eat," Logan urged me, and I scoffed.Summoning courage, I looked up at him. "How do you expect me to reach it?" I asked, my voice cracked and hoarse. After a moment of thought, Logan took the tray from the table and placed it on my lap."I would appreciate the food if only I could eat it," I said, frustration evident in the tone of my voice.Logan groaned, clearly annoyed by my disturbance. He undid the rope on my right hand, leaving my left hand still tied to the headboard above my head. "You better figure out how to eat with one hand because there's no way I'm releasing both of your hands," he said."Are you kidding me? How do you expect me to eat with just one hand?" I questioned him."Just like I said before, figure it out!" Logan replied dismissively. His phone began ringing, and he had to reach into his back pocket to fish it out. He checked the caller ID and smirked before looking at me. "I'll be gone for a short time. Don't do anything silly, or you'll regret it,"
Logan’s POV"Alright, girls, let's go," I said as I opened the back seat of the car and gestured for Stephanie and Jessica to get in. I was going to drop Stephanie off at home before Jessica and I went on our honeymoon. Once they were in the car, I locked the doors and got into the driver's seat. I fastened my seatbelt, started the engine, and began to drive away from the church. As I rounded the corner, I spotted my son. He gave me a knowing smile, and I smirked back, understanding that the game was on.I drove the car out of the church parking lot and onto the road, heading to my predetermined location. Glancing at the rearview mirror, I noticed Jessica was busy with her phone while Stephanie seemed lost in her own thoughts.Suddenly, the car began to accelerate unexpectedly. Jessica, sitting behind me, must have been scared by the speed, as she urged me to slow down.“I don't know what's happening to the car. I'm not doing this! Fuck!” I cursed, having no idea what was wrong. I tri
I reached his car before I turned to him and could see the anger on his face. “Diamond, I've been following your orders, and your plans have always turned out to be horrible. Now you're going to follow my orders, and my order is to ensure that the woman stays alive," I told him and proceeded to open the back seat of his car with my free hand.“How the hell do you expect me to drive her with this car?” Diamond yelled from afar, pointing at my damaged car.“I don't know; you ruined my car, so fix it!” I yelled back at him.Given how empty the road was, I'm certain Diamond won't be getting back anytime soon.I carefully laid Stephanie down in the back seat, then stroked her hair back, observing her face. She had a blood stain from a slight injury to her head. After locking the car door shut, I noticed Diamond already on the phone, ordering one of our henchmen to bring him another car. “You better fix my car and call me when you're on your way back!” I shouted at him before getting into t
