WHAT DO YOU WANT DIAMOND?

STEPHANIE'S POV

I pushed him into a corner before joining him. "Diamond, what are you doing here?" I asked quietly, making sure no one outside could hear us, though I doubted they would ever hear us.

Diamond smirked like a maniac and leaned against the church wall. Ignoring my question, he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket. Holding it between his middle and index fingers, he placed it between his lips and took out a lighter. He cupped his hand around the cigarette, flicked the lighter, and lit it on fire. Before he could take a drag of smoke off the cigarette, I yanked it from his hand, dropped it on the ground, and stomped on it, smashing it hard to make sure it was ruined so he wouldn't pick it up and use it again.

Diamond knew how much I hated to see him smoke in front of me; I had warned him about it in the past. The smell of smoke disgusted me, and the last thing I wanted was to stand here inhaling it while I spoke with him.

"I asked you a question, Diamond. Don't you dare ignore me. Give me an answer!" I demanded.

Diamond smirked devilishly and slipped the lighter into his back pocket. He didn't react to my actions or fight me for ruining his cigarette. "Can't you see, Stephanie? Today is my father's wedding day, and I decided to show up to support him. Stop acting dumb like you don't know," he responded coldly, even with a side smirk on his face.

"How could you let this happen? How could you let your father marry my mom? Don't you think it's weird since we've known each other?”

"Look, that's the past now, and I had no idea my father was marrying your mom until I got here,” Diamond defended.

“I've introduced you to my mom before; you've seen her. You could have known your dad was marrying my mom and stopped the wedding,” I snapped.

"Oh, please drop the act, Stephanie," he said. "Isn't it nice that my dad is marrying your mom? It's a good sign that we're going to get closer together." His words unsettled me; I sensed something felt off. I knew it because I felt it so deep inside.

"You knew Logan was going to marry my mother," I stated calmly.

Diamond flashed me a smug smirk. "Same as you; I didn't know. It came as a shock. Why do you think I came late? If I had known he was marrying your mother, I wouldn't have let that happen," Diamond responded with all seriousness.

I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. Diamond is an excellent liar; he could look you in the eyes and lie to you, leaving you no choice but to believe his every word, thinking he was telling the truth, but he isn't.

He noticed the doubting look on my face and dropped his smirk, adopting a serious tone. "Trust me, Stephanie," he said, but I couldn't bring myself to trust him. Not after what he did to me a year ago. "Logan is my father, but that doesn't mean I know everything about him. His life is secretive, and I have my own life to focus on," Diamond explained.

He straightened up from the wall, towering over me as I looked up at him. He looks down to meet my gaze. "Don't you trust me?" he asked, and I couldn't bring myself to respond. Truthfully, I didn't trust Diamond, but admitting it to him was difficult because I feared his reaction—he might get angry and hurt me.

I took a step back, intending to leave, but he seemed to quickly sense my intention. He grabbed my upper arm and forcefully pressed me against the wall.

"Diamond, leave me alone!" I shouted, and surprisingly, he released my arm. Then he placed both hands on the wall, trapping me between him and the wall. It was clear he wasn't going to let me go until he was done.

"Stephanie, remember we have unfinished business, and I'm here to end it," Diamond said, lowering one hand from the wall and running it down the side of my face.

My whole body shivered, and I couldn't find the words to speak to him. He traced the back of his finger down my throat and then to the middle of my cleavage, where he paused. I was already breathless and panting because I'd been holding my breath for what felt like an eternity. I was sexually active, but I couldn't believe this fucking maniac could turn me on.

"What do you want, Diamond?" I managed to ask breathlessly.

Diamond leaned into me, tilting his head as his lips reached for mine. I closed my eyes, my lips quivering at the thought of feeling his lips against mine. I felt goosebumps all over my body as I wondered what he would taste like—tequila, because he was an alcohol addict, or maybe strawberry, his favourite sweet? God, what is wrong with me? How could I be thinking like this about a man who used me and harassed me years ago?

I see he has a charming move now, but it's not going to work on me. I felt Diamond's lips brush against mine, causing me to shiver, and I realised he was just teasing me. I waited in anticipation with my eyes still closed, expecting him to kiss me, but his voice snapped me out of it.

"You know, Stephanie, I've forgiven you for what you did to me in the past," he said, and I scoffed. He's the one who should have apologised for attempting to force himself on me when I told him I wasn't ready. I wouldn't want to experience the same abusive relationship my mom did, so I broke up with him and reported him to the police because I was scared he would come back for me. He spent almost three months behind bars but didn't come back to me when he was released, and now here he is, teasing and taunting me.

"I spent a freaking three months in jail and..."

"Didn't your father bail you out and if you were innocent why didn't you plead not guilty?” I asked, hoping he'd silence me with a kiss before I let out my rage at him.

"You know if I hadn't..." He started with a harsh tone, pointing a finger at me, but hesitated before continuing in a calmer manner. I felt like he really wanted to say something important to me about it, but he held back and changed the subject. "Come on, let's go; we don't want your mom to think you've gone missing," Diamond said, and when I opened my eyes, I saw him stepping away from me and running his hand through his hair to fix the mess.

God! I couldn't believe what just happened. I was extremely embarrassed for almost letting Diamond have his way with me without even resisting.

"And Stephanie," he called out, but I couldn't bring myself to look up at his face. "About the 99% chance of marrying you, you didn't ask what I would do with the 1%," he said.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I asked,"What would you do with the 1%?".

Diamond moved closer to me, backing me against the wall. I looked up at him, my heart racing as his face lowered to whisper into my ear. I don't know why he is so fond of intimidating me with his height.

"To fuck your wet pussy," Diamond responded.
