STEPHANIE'S POV
I pushed him into a corner before joining him. "Diamond, what are you doing here?" I asked quietly, making sure no one outside could hear us, though I doubted they would ever hear us. Diamond smirked like a maniac and leaned against the church wall. Ignoring my question, he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket. Holding it between his middle and index fingers, he placed it between his lips and took out a lighter. He cupped his hand around the cigarette, flicked the lighter, and lit it on fire. Before he could take a drag of smoke off the cigarette, I yanked it from his hand, dropped it on the ground, and stomped on it, smashing it hard to make sure it was ruined so he wouldn't pick it up and use it again. Diamond knew how much I hated to see him smoke in front of me; I had warned him about it in the past. The smell of smoke disgusted me, and the last thing I wanted was to stand here inhaling it while I spoke with him. "I asked you a question, Diamond. Don't you dare ignore me. Give me an answer!" I demanded. Diamond smirked devilishly and slipped the lighter into his back pocket. He didn't react to my actions or fight me for ruining his cigarette. "Can't you see, Stephanie? Today is my father's wedding day, and I decided to show up to support him. Stop acting dumb like you don't know," he responded coldly, even with a side smirk on his face. "How could you let this happen? How could you let your father marry my mom? Don't you think it's weird since we've known each other?” "Look, that's the past now, and I had no idea my father was marrying your mom until I got here,” Diamond defended. “I've introduced you to my mom before; you've seen her. You could have known your dad was marrying my mom and stopped the wedding,” I snapped. "Oh, please drop the act, Stephanie," he said. "Isn't it nice that my dad is marrying your mom? It's a good sign that we're going to get closer together." His words unsettled me; I sensed something felt off. I knew it because I felt it so deep inside. "You knew Logan was going to marry my mother," I stated calmly. Diamond flashed me a smug smirk. "Same as you; I didn't know. It came as a shock. Why do you think I came late? If I had known he was marrying your mother, I wouldn't have let that happen," Diamond responded with all seriousness. I couldn't tell if he was lying or not. Diamond is an excellent liar; he could look you in the eyes and lie to you, leaving you no choice but to believe his every word, thinking he was telling the truth, but he isn't. He noticed the doubting look on my face and dropped his smirk, adopting a serious tone. "Trust me, Stephanie," he said, but I couldn't bring myself to trust him. Not after what he did to me a year ago. "Logan is my father, but that doesn't mean I know everything about him. His life is secretive, and I have my own life to focus on," Diamond explained. He straightened up from the wall, towering over me as I looked up at him. He looks down to meet my gaze. "Don't you trust me?" he asked, and I couldn't bring myself to respond. Truthfully, I didn't trust Diamond, but admitting it to him was difficult because I feared his reaction—he might get angry and hurt me. I took a step back, intending to leave, but he seemed to quickly sense my intention. He grabbed my upper arm and forcefully pressed me against the wall. "Diamond, leave me alone!" I shouted, and surprisingly, he released my arm. Then he placed both hands on the wall, trapping me between him and the wall. It was clear he wasn't going to let me go until he was done. "Stephanie, remember we have unfinished business, and I'm here to end it," Diamond said, lowering one hand from the wall and running it down the side of my face. My whole body shivered, and I couldn't find the words to speak to him. He traced the back of his finger down my throat and then to the middle of my cleavage, where he paused. I was already breathless and panting because I'd been holding my breath for what felt like an eternity. I was sexually active, but I couldn't believe this fucking maniac could turn me on. "What do you want, Diamond?" I managed to ask breathlessly. Diamond leaned into me, tilting his head as his lips reached for mine. I closed my eyes, my lips quivering at the thought of feeling his lips against mine. I felt goosebumps all over my body as I wondered what he would taste like—tequila, because he was an alcohol addict, or maybe strawberry, his favourite sweet? God, what is wrong with me? How could I be thinking like this about a man who used me and harassed me years ago? I see he has a charming move now, but it's not going to work on me. I felt Diamond's lips brush against mine, causing me to shiver, and I realised he was just teasing me. I waited in anticipation with my eyes still closed, expecting him to kiss me, but his voice snapped me out of it. "You know, Stephanie, I've forgiven you for what you did to me in the past," he said, and I scoffed. He's the one who should have apologised for attempting to force himself on me when I told him I wasn't ready. I wouldn't want to experience the same abusive relationship my mom did, so I broke up with him and reported him to the police because I was scared he would come back for me. He spent almost three months behind bars but didn't come back to me when he was released, and now here he is, teasing and taunting me. "I spent a freaking three months in jail and..." "Didn't your father bail you out and if you were innocent why didn't you plead not guilty?” I asked, hoping he'd silence me with a kiss before I let out my rage at him. "You know if I hadn't..." He started with a harsh tone, pointing a finger at me, but hesitated before continuing in a calmer manner. I felt like he really wanted to say something important to me about it, but he held back and changed the subject. "Come on, let's go; we don't want your mom to think you've gone missing," Diamond said, and when I opened my eyes, I saw him stepping away from me and running his hand through his hair to fix the mess. God! I couldn't believe what just happened. I was extremely embarrassed for almost letting Diamond have his way with me without even resisting. "And Stephanie," he called out, but I couldn't bring myself to look up at his face. "About the 99% chance of marrying you, you didn't ask what I would do with the 1%," he said. Curiosity got the better of me, and I asked,"What would you do with the 1%?". Diamond moved closer to me, backing me against the wall. I looked up at him, my heart racing as his face lowered to whisper into my ear. I don't know why he is so fond of intimidating me with his height. "To fuck your wet pussy," Diamond responded. My stomach fluttered, and my cheeks burned as my face reddened in embarrassment. Hearing his muscular voice utter those naughty words gave me a rush of pleasure that made my panties become moist.I pushed him away from me, feeling a mix of emotions.Diamond stepped back from the force I used, chuckling as I said, “You're dreaming; go to hell." I hurried out of the corner before him, determined not to let him drive me crazy, and I could feel his smirk as he watched me leave.“Don't act like you don't want me to!” I heard him utter behind me in a mocking tone. He knew all too well that I had fallen for his charm. Thank goodness this is the last wedding I will attend, and hopefully I won't have to see him again after all this is over. "Oh my God, Stephanie, where have you been? We were just about to leave, and you've gone missing. I was so freaking scared I lost you," my mom said, running towards me before pulling me into a hug. Diamond was right; my mom really thought I went missing. I'
STEPHANIE POVMy eyes snapped open from the darkness, and I heavily gasped for breath, feeling as though I had been struggling for air for some time.Glancing around, I realised I was still inside the car, illuminated only by the dim dome light that flickered weakly, threatening to fade at any moment. Turning to my left, I saw my mom lying on the passenger seat beside me, blood trickling from a wound on her head. It appeared she must have struck her head hard against the front seat."Oh my God," I whimpered silently before looking ahead to the driver's seat. There, I saw my stepfather's body slumped over the steering wheel, his face covered in blood, most of it dripping from his hand onto the wheel itself, staining it crimson.I wanted to scream, but I pressed my left hand firmly against my lips to hold myself back from doing so. The car reeked of blood, causing me to gag in disgust. I have a strong hatred for anything bloody, especially if it comes from a human being.I began sweatin
I was taken aback by the sight of my extremely hot and handsome stepdad. His hair was messy, as if he had been running his fingers through it for a long time. The sight of him made my nipples stiffen, protruding under my white dress."I'm dreaming," I whispered to myself, but he must have overheard me as his deep, masculine voice responded, "No, you're not." Hearing that, I felt my heart skip a beat."I'm glad you're finally awake," he said as his handsome face came into view.I realised I wasn't dreaming when my stepdad came into my line of sight. "Oh my God!" I exclaimed, bolting upright from the fluffy pillows on the bed and leaning against the headboard in shock to really see my stepdad. I tried to move my hands, only to realise they were tied to the headboard. I wondered how long I had been asleep.I struggled to free myself, jerking my wrists and legs, but realised they were restrained by leather cuffs attached to the bed frame. All four of my limbs were secured to the four corn
"Ha", I chuckled, thinking this must be a nightmare or my brain playing tricks on me. My stepdad is a kind, gentle man. Even though I barely know him, I believe he could never do this to me, especially when he is married to my mother. He loves her too much, enough not to hurt her, and we both know that if my mom finds out about this, it could end their relationship."I don't believe it," I said, trying to convince myself, but Logan's words made me face the harsh truth."You've been kidnapped, Stephanie!" Logan made it clear to me, and that's when the reality finally sank in."No, no, no, please let me go! I need to find my mom!" I screamed, pulling as hard as I could against the cuffs, but it only tightened its grips and dug deeper into my skin.I groaned, frustrated and shocked that my stepfather could do this to me. "What? What do you want from me? Why have you kidnapped me?" I demanded, desperate for a reasonable explanation. He didn't respond and just kept staring at me while I st
"You should eat," Logan urged me, and I scoffed.Summoning courage, I looked up at him. "How do you expect me to reach it?" I asked, my voice cracked and hoarse. After a moment of thought, Logan took the tray from the table and placed it on my lap."I would appreciate the food if only I could eat it," I said, frustration evident in the tone of my voice.Logan groaned, clearly annoyed by my disturbance. He undid the rope on my right hand, leaving my left hand still tied to the headboard above my head. "You better figure out how to eat with one hand because there's no way I'm releasing both of your hands," he said."Are you kidding me? How do you expect me to eat with just one hand?" I questioned him."Just like I said before, figure it out!" Logan replied dismissively. His phone began ringing, and he had to reach into his back pocket to fish it out. He checked the caller ID and smirked before looking at me. "I'll be gone for a short time. Don't do anything silly, or you'll regret it,"
Logan’s POV"Alright, girls, let's go," I said as I opened the back seat of the car and gestured for Stephanie and Jessica to get in. I was going to drop Stephanie off at home before Jessica and I went on our honeymoon. Once they were in the car, I locked the doors and got into the driver's seat. I fastened my seatbelt, started the engine, and began to drive away from the church. As I rounded the corner, I spotted my son. He gave me a knowing smile, and I smirked back, understanding that the game was on.I drove the car out of the church parking lot and onto the road, heading to my predetermined location. Glancing at the rearview mirror, I noticed Jessica was busy with her phone while Stephanie seemed lost in her own thoughts.Suddenly, the car began to accelerate unexpectedly. Jessica, sitting behind me, must have been scared by the speed, as she urged me to slow down.“I don't know what's happening to the car. I'm not doing this! Fuck!” I cursed, having no idea what was wrong. I tri
I reached his car before I turned to him and could see the anger on his face. “Diamond, I've been following your orders, and your plans have always turned out to be horrible. Now you're going to follow my orders, and my order is to ensure that the woman stays alive," I told him and proceeded to open the back seat of his car with my free hand.“How the hell do you expect me to drive her with this car?” Diamond yelled from afar, pointing at my damaged car.“I don't know; you ruined my car, so fix it!” I yelled back at him.Given how empty the road was, I'm certain Diamond won't be getting back anytime soon.I carefully laid Stephanie down in the back seat, then stroked her hair back, observing her face. She had a blood stain from a slight injury to her head. After locking the car door shut, I noticed Diamond already on the phone, ordering one of our henchmen to bring him another car. “You better fix my car and call me when you're on your way back!” I shouted at him before getting into t
Born into a notorious and most-feared mafia kingpin family, my father leads one of the most dangerous mafia clans in the country. As the son of a notorious mob boss, my fate was sealed to be entwined within the criminal underworld. Ours was a wealthy and influential clan with a strict code: if you hurt one relative, you hurt the entire extended family clan. And that's what she did! She had my son falsely imprisoned, igniting our fury and need for vengeance. After securing his release and hearing his account of how Stephanie, his ruthless ex-girlfriend, which he claimed she is, had wrongfully accused him of a crime he didn't commit and sent him to jail, our family's honour demanded retribution. We had systematically wreaked the people's life, who were involved in my son's imprisonment, leaving Stephanie as the last and final target on our list. Our directive was clear: restore our family's honour and ensure the culprit suffers by paying dearly. I had no choice but to be involved in
