Chapter 23

Natasha went down the passage and entered the VIP lounge. It was luxuriously decorated and brightly lit by the chandeliers dangling from the ceiling.

Everyone there was busy catching up and discussing things with one another.

She removed her sunglasses and picked up a glass of champagne from a waiter passing by. Then, she went into a corner and sat down.

"I heard that a medical professor from Radiance Biomed is coming. But why don't I see them anywhere yet?"

"Someone from Radiance is coming? I heard that their drug research paused at the clinical stage the last time. We haven't heard a peep from them since then."

Someone next to the man who had spoken nudged him on the shoulder. He said, "If Radiance hasn't been progressing much with their research, what about these smaller drug companies? None of their newer drugs have been making waves in the industry."

Natasha heard this and raised her eyebrow in curiosity. She said nothing as she continued eavesdropping on their conversation
