Mason listened to everything Natalie told him. By the time she was finished, he felt less anxious than before. This was an easy case, after all.

"It would be even better if you could settle the case by today," Natalie added.

When she had found out that Joshua was going to take her to the apartment instead of Grayson Villa, she knew that he didn't want Lorelei to know about her returning to the country.

But Natalie was impatient. She didn't know how long Joshua would take to convince his mother about her. She couldn't wait any longer!

She planned to present Natasha's situation before Lorelei straightaway, at the risk of infuriating Joshua. Maybe then Lorelei wouldn't side with Natasha anymore after learning about the truth!

Once Lorelei was utterly disappointed in Natasha, Natalie could then glide in effortlessly to replace Natasha in the family. It was a win-win situation!
