Chapter 9: An apology gift

Selina returns home without a car, much to the amazement of the housekeepers. Since everyone knew Selina was a pampered daughter from a young age, she couldn't bear even a little, but today they saw her walking home without a ride or a taxi.

Everyone told each other that Selina was arguing with her friend again, so she got out of the car when it was almost home. They didn't believe Selina could walk home because it was so unbelievable.

Jenna Marie's sister is Julia, leaning against the glass door and observing the garden's landscape. Since Jenny's bedroom is on the villa's top floor, she can see it all on the street.

Julia was completely surprised when she saw with her own eyes that her beloved sister was able to walk home.

Usually, Julia doesn't like Jenna because she always feels that her sister is useless. This family's secret is understandable at first glance, but Jenna is carefree and doesn't know anything.

Selina was sensitive and sensed that strange eyes were looking in her direction. She quickly raised her head and looked in the direction of Julia's room.

Julia saw Selina looking at her when she panicked and stepped back into the room two steps in panic. Although it was difficult for the person below the garden to see her at this height, Julia had a feeling that the person below had actually seen her.

Julia didn't understand why, normally she was so brave, but today when selina looked like that, she felt panicked.

Selina didn't look in the direction of Julia's room anymore because she knew the person looking at it was Julia. She gently raised the corners of her lips to smile, she thought that she had relied on Jenna Marie's identity, so she should also do some work for that lost girl.

Selina entered the house, straight up to Julia's room. As soon as she got there, julia walked out of the room.

"Wherever you go, should you know the way back, Jenna?"

Julia tried to pretend it was okay and said a sentence full of sarcasm.

“Julia, Can you drive you to my parking lot?”

Selina is also not in a hurry to expose Julia's fear and wants to let Julia know that Jenna loves her sister very much.

Because yesterday when she searched Jenna's room, she discovered Jenna's diary. It was hidden so well that even the servants in the house did not clean the place where it was kept.

Selina seemed to know that Julia would refuse, so she spoke.

“Do you want to know what I did to the car?”

Julia immediately reacted, her eyes widening at Selina as if threatening, but then Julia also had to compromise before Selina.

"Okay, I'll take you."

Selina smiled proudly. Through Jenna's diary, she learned that Julia was very passionate about high-speed cars. So Jenna's Bugatti Chiron was bought twice the price only to provoke Julia.

“Can you hurry up?”

Julia found Selina very leisurely and slowly followed her step by step to the parking lot.

“No need to rush”

Get in the car, and Selina locates the map on the vehicle for Julia and then closes her eyes, saying nothing. Her state looked like she was asleep, but it was like she was resting quietly.

When Julia's car stopped, Selina opened her eyes and woke up. Selina got out of the car, went to the Bugatti Chiron, and pulled out the car keys.

Julia sat in the car and watched all of Selina's actions. Although she was angry that Selina did park the limited vehicle in a place like this, she could only sit still and not speak because that car, no matter how worried she was, it's not even hers.

Selina looked Julia right in the eye inside the car, she reached out her hand and beckoned Julia to get out of the vehicle.

Julia was still the same angry look, but she was also very obedient and got out of the car and went to Selina.

Selina also didn't say a word but threw the Bugatti Chiron car key over to Julia.

The car key fell at Julia's feet, she misunderstood what Selina meant, so she arrogantly didn't pick up the key.

"I already drove you here. Do you still want me to take you home?"

“This car is for you,” said Selina, leaning back against the car.

"Give me?" After two seconds of amazement, Julia scornfully said, "You're bored, give me a car for me. Get rid of that thought."

Selina considered Julia's angry reaction, the more sure she was that what she thought was right.

“This car is what I want to use as an apology gift to you. I wanted to piss you off when I bought it. But when I did the procedure, I left your name as the owner of it."

Julia was surprised, but she did not quite believe Selina's words. Because when she found the seller of this car, she was overjoyed. The seller is also a friend of Julia's racing world, so at first, he was so pleased that he agreed to sell it to her. But things did not go as planned. A week later, when Julia called him, he said he had sold Jenna for double the price.

At that time, Julia was furious and wanted to find Jenna to question but received only humiliating provocations.

“You think I'll believe what you say? At that time, you said such words to insult me. Have you forgotten?"

Selina was obviously not Jenna, so it was impossible to know what Jenna had said at the time. What she knows is that after the Bugatti Chiron incident, Jenna regretted it. Jenna wanted to find the right time to say sorry to Julia, but she had to leave forever.

"The breakdown of our family is not our fault. It's between our parents. So why do we hate each other because we can't decide?"
