Chapter 7: Guard

After speaking to Vera and Sarah's group, Selina drives back to Jenna's house. Wolfgang was on leave today so he was quite free, he wanted to bring her back but was flatly rejected by her.

Selina knew there were two groups of people following her so she didn't drive home directly and drove off to the deserted side.

Wolfgang also knew selina's side had a problem but did not try to chase because he knew she would surely know how to weigh lightly.

Seeing Sarah's group come home, Wolfgang was reassured. The corners of his lips were raised to form a beautiful smile.

Wolfgang reached over his bushy beard. This beard of his covered all his brightly handsome faces.

Wolfgang didn't want to show his true face to Jenna's friends because he knew that Selina wanted to learn about the human world herself. If he kept wanting to help her repeatedly, she would be annoyed.

Selina stopped the car on the side of the road, got off the car, and walked into nearby woods.

The scent was following Selina closer and closer. It didn't bother her either, as if she had gone deep into the woods for another purpose.

Selina saw that this place was suitable, so she stopped walking. She smiled and then spoke loudly for the person behind her to hear.

"You guys are tired too, aren't you?"

It turned out that the one chasing after Selina was Orla. She brought more than a dozen tall men with her to find Selina.

"Looks like you've made up your mind?"

Selina turned her head to ask Orla. She looked at the group of people behind her and laughed.

“Jenna, you ran in here to find a place to bury, right? I let you bury your body here today?"

Orla's face was still swollen from Selina's slap earlier. Her morale was great now because she saw that Selina was alone without going with Wolfgang.

“That's brave.”

Selina saw Orla's overconfident look and was not afraid but, on the contrary, complimented.

“No more tell needed. All of you go all the way.”

Selina reached out to provoke the tall men behind Orla. In her head, she was thinking about whether to act too hard or run away to be true to Jenna's status now.

The others looked at each other and rushed at Selina in unison. They saw in front of them that just a weak girl did not want to play cat and mouse, but because they had accepted Orla's money, they took a little longer.

Selina remained motionless, because the scent of her fellow human beings was already very strong, so her job now just to stand still watching the fun.

As those people circled Selina, she also carefully observed them.

“You better run away.”

“Little girl, we give you a chance to live. If you can run now, run."

Selina just smiled. She shook her head slightly, looked at Orla, and then raised her hand to her mouth to whistle.

As soon as the whistle sounded from the woods, the loud howl of the Wolf resounded throughout the forest. The people surrounding Selina felt uneasy but did not dare to move.

After that echoing sound, the silhouettes of three Wolves ten times larger than average appeared from behind an ancient tree.

Some tall men have seen the Wolf, but the wolf is so big that they are the first time they have seen it.

One of them was afraid to tremble and shouted and ran away. The crowd effect wasn't bad either, and the whole crowd ran away.

They looked behind to see if the three Wolves were chasing them as they ran. Some people even tripped on the road but quickly got up and continued to run away.

Orla could only stand still like a statue now because in front of her was a golden-haired wolf with sharp white teeth. And behind her is a Wolf with gray fur. It seems more ferocious. It always wants to go ahead and tear her.

Selina smiled proudly. She reached out and stroked the large wolf fur beside her. It has smooth black fur, and its yellow eyes are somewhat cold, but when being rubbed by Selina, it retracts its combative evil.

"Windy, you take care of her."

“Guru!”

After a loud howl, only the gray-haired wolf named Windy was relieved to use his sharp claws to kill Orla.

Orla only had time to scream, and then there was silence.

"Ezra William"

Selina didn't care anymore. She looked at the wolf beside her and called out a familiar name.

That black-haired wolf was indeed Ezra William. It understood and leaned forward to let Selina climb up and sit on her back.

Ezra commanded the remaining two wolves, "You two should dispose of her body."

The other two Wolves received the order and transformed into a human to quickly clean up the body. The two wolves had now turned into two highly handsome men.

The people just now didn't have to run away, and they ran to find help. Because the scene they saw just now scared them a lot.

But when the police and wildlife team arrived, there was no sign of the wolf.

And the girl they said did not see the heart anywhere.

The men also did not want to be considered a liar, so they led the police to go inside.

In this forest, there is a relatively large lake.

The group of people saw two men naked.

"Hey, what are you two doing there?"

Seeing someone calling her, Windy immediately answered.

"We're taking a shower."

"Where are your clothes?"

Windy and Nolan have also been to the human world, so they are quick to answer.

"Just now, someone passing by took our things. Can you help us?"

"Someone took your things?"

"Probably a homeless guy."

The police team heard that too, no longer doubting. They asked someone to go back to the police car parked on the street to get Windy and Nolan's things.

"Thank you guys so much."

"Hurry up, you two"

The police saw no more clues, so they turned to yell at the tall men who went to report.

"You must pay a fine for disturbing the police."
