Sidd’s POV
Seeing Nadia leave with that dickhead made me crazy. I trampled to Mr Baldev’s room.Bang!I hit my fist against the door. On a second attempt, he opened the door and I walked past him inside.“What’s wrong, Sidd?” he asked, facing me.“I am leaving this place today,” I declared and his forehead creased with confusion.“Why? We just got here yesterday,” he blunted.“I know. You all can continue to stay till the one week is over. I have to return home. I came to say goodbye,” I told him and headed out.“Okay then, see you,” he bade and I shut the door.*****I pulled out my suitcase and headed to my car. Ria was shouting my name behind me. I ignored her and put my suitcase in the back seat.“Where are you going, Sidd?” she queried, catching up with me before I even entered the car.“I’m leaving,” I declared and opened the door to the driver’s seat.“How can you leave without me?” she asked in a low tone.“Look here, RNadia’s POV“Argh!” I winced at thedull pain in my head and hand. I opened my eyes, falling them on the IV bag. Ilooked at my hand and the IV was stuck into my veins. My eyes darted around, landing them on Veer. “You are awake. How doyou feel now?” he asked, smiling.“What happened to me?” Iqueried.“Nothing serious, youwill be fine,” he assured me.“You are awake now!” thegroan of a middle-aged woman made me shudder as I turned my eyes to her. Shelooked angry. I glanced at Veer. He beckoned to me to calm down. “Do you thinkyou can escape this? How dare you? How dare you put my daughter in such acondition?” the woman scolded.“You have to calm down,ma’am. It wasn’t entirely her fault,”Veer defended, leaving me looking puzzled as I watched the angry woman pour outon me.“Whose fault is it then? She is the reason my daughter is in a coma and you said it’s not her fault? Lookhere, Nad
Nadia’s POVMy eyes bored into Veer’sand I nibbled on my bottom lip as his eyes blazed with desire.“You don’t have to sayanything,” he said, the corner of his lips turned up into a smile. Hepositioned his hands back on the steering wheel and started the engine. Iindeed couldn’t speak as I kept gawking at him. What does he mean by he lovesme?*****I still couldn’t get overwhat Veer told me earlier. Does he love me mean he is in love with me? When didthat start? I shuffled across the dimly lit bedroom whose only light source wasthe blue lamp on the nightstand, lost in thought and trying to figure out thereal meaning behind his words. I shuddered upon hearing my phone ring. I pickedit up from the table. Veer. I stared plainly at the phone screen, puckering mylips and contemplating whether to answer the call or not. The call ended and Isighed. Then my phone began ringing again. I just couldn’t think of anythin
Nadia’s POVAfter leaving Veer whowent to meet the director, I ambled down the porch, waiting for him to return.Taking a left turn to the hallway, I saw Siya. Her face was pale and hereyelashes drooped with her deflated shoulders, dragging her feet like someoneshackled to chains.“Siya?” I called. Shelifted her dull, watery eyes to me. “Hey, what happened to you? Have you beencrying?” I queried, concern tinged in my voice. Without a word, she shuffledpast me. “Siya, what is the matter?” I flitted to her front.“What do you want,Nadia?” she barked suddenly, making me shiver. Her eyes darkened, swallowingthe beautiful chestnut brown color in them. My forehead creased. I haven’t seenSiya was in such a mood before. What happened to the always-blithe Siya?“Talk to me, Siya. Whathappened to you? We can always sort it out, right?”“Leave me the hell aloneyou freaking betrayal. Don’t ever come close to me,” she
Nadia’s POV“Jaiden?” Veer mentionedand I squinted my eyes, trying to see the figure that just stepped out of the carwith fans and reporters sticking to him like bees to honey.“Sidd’s brother?” Iuttered. “Where has he been all these while?” I queried, my eyes still notleaving his sight.“He has been away to theUS for some months now. He is back with his troubles again,” Veer said, no iotaof respect in his voice. What kind of a person is Jaiden then? “Are you fighting withhim also?” I queried. He chuckled. “I don’tfight everyone, Nadia. Jaiden is just something else and I implore you to becareful around him,” he cautioned, forcing my eyes back on him.“Give me a snippet ofwhat he does.”“Describe him as apervert,” Veer whispered and my brows quirked. “He is not someone to tacklewhen it comes to his sexual desires.”“Hmm,” I trailed off.*****“Nadia?” I was walkingthrough the h
Damini’s POV (Sidd’s Mom)How dare she? How dareshe try to come between my sons? Since they were born, this is the first time oneis threatening another.I drove with my driver, heading to the studio. It doesn’t matter how many eyes are there, I am going toteach that pervert of a lady a lesson to stay away from my sons.“We are here, ma’am,” mydriver notified. I was so lost in thoughtthat I didn’t know we had reached the studio yet. I alighted from the car, squared my shoulders, and strutted inside. It has been a while since I stepped my feethere and every time I do, I make sure to leave them talking about me.“Welcome, ma’am Damini,”Mr Baldev greeted, warmly extending a hand to me.“Thank you, Baldev,” Iresponded, wrapping my hand around his.“It has been a while,ma’am Damini. It’s nice having you around today,” Mr Baldev expressed as weheaded inside.“It might not be nice forthe one I am
Nadia’s POVI was riding with Veer.He always insists on taking me home. He has been of great support to me inthe industry and I wish to repay him by not breaking his heart. I will try tobe with him even though it will be hard loving another man but Sidd. It hasbeen two days since the incident with Sidd’s mom and I have been trying as muchas possible to escape Sidd and Jaiden. I know Sidd wouldn’t react to myreprove, but that Jaiden is something else. Just yesterday, he threatened totake me down and make me scream his name. For fuck’s sake, what did I do todeserve that? No man has ever touched me before and after Sidd, yet I earnedmyself a slut’s title. If only I had listened to my mother’s advice, maybe Iwouldn’t be here by now.“What is the matter now?”Veer asked, glancing at me. “It’s nothing, I’m fine,”I replied with a forced smile. How can I be fine when I am being threatened? Icouldn’t tell Veer about
Nadia’s POV“Ow!” I winced at thethrobbing pain in my forehead. It felt like something dull was forcing itself acrossmy forehead. The room smelled like a candle wax burning. My whole body was benumbed.I opened my eyes and the darkness made my vision blurry before the candlelightslowly pierced through. I tried to sit up on the bed but then I couldn’t movemy hands. I pulled my hands and it dragged a rope above my head. Wait. What? Itried looking up at my head, my neck ached. Then it dawned on me my hands weretied to something, maybe a hook against the wall above the headboard orsomething. I pulled my leg, it was restrained too. Then my position wasconfirmed. I was lying flat on the bed, my hands tied to something above theheadboard, and my legs were spread on the bed, tied each to something I couldn’tfathom, restraining my whole body movement except my eyes and head. My heartpicked a race, and my senses heightened, knowin
Sidd’s POVI returned to thesafe house to be with Nadia. She was still unconscious. I removed my shoes andsat on a chair close to the bed, watching her.“Veer… Veer,” Nadia begancalling in a brittle tone, sweeping her head sideways uncomfortably on the bed.Her forehead was covered with the sweat evoked by her nightmare.“Nadia?” I called. Istood up from the chair and sat with her on the bed. “Nadia?” I shook herlightly.“Veer?” she gasped, jerking up immediately. “Veer?” she turned her head to me. “Did you see Veer?Did you help him?” she queried, staring into my eyes as if fetching the truth.“Calm down, okay? Veer isfine,” I assured her. She inhaled and exhaleddeeply. “Thank you,” she mouthed and relaxed back on the bed.“What should I get you?”I asked. She sat up quickly again, swaying her head around the bed. “My phone. Where is my phone?”“Are you kidding me? Isthat what’s import
