“Calliope, I need a coffee,” I said while my eyes focused on the documents. I’m now working in my office and it’s been a week since we had our first date in the mall. I miss being with him wherein we don’t have to worry about our job but since it’s reality, we need to face it and wait for our day off again to finally spend our time with each other.“What coffee, Ma’am Ylva?” she inquired.“Anything, but it should be an iced coffee,” I answered.“Noted, Ma’am,” she said with an energetic voice.Minutes later, I heard Calliope’s footsteps. Since I was familiar with her presence, I already knew that she was the wolf that was approaching. She placed my iced coffee on my left side and didn’t say anything. She’d be like this if she knew that I was busy with my paperwork. I like quiet places as much as possible. I always wanted my office to be filled with silence so I could work without getting irritated.I remembered when Lyall finally settled the payment in the studio. He promptly took one
“Your Highness Celeste Louve, rumors had been circulating online that you’re dating Sebastian Lyall Volkov,” Butler declared when I arrived in the dining area.I’ll have my breakfast here in my residence since I’ve woken up early. My morning was good, not until I heard the information about me dating Lyall, even though he’s my mate.I understand that I’m a well-known businesswoman, but can’t they just neglect my dating life and have some respect? I was known for being a young CEO and owner of my parent’s business, but why are they invading my privacy in dating?I let out a deep sigh and glanced at my butler, who was now looking at me with worried eyes. He’s concerned, but since this is the life that I’ve existed, I should let everything do what they wanted, right?“Just let them. Lyall will do what he wants to do with the news. We just have to ignore everything and focus on the plan,” I said. While eating, the security that I’d been waiting for popped into my mind, so I glanced at my
Since I had no clue about the wizards, I tried looking at some books in my library so I could learn about them, but it’s just all about the history of werewolves.I massaged the temple of my nose, trying to think of a better plan on how to study the history and abilities of wizards, but nothing came to my mind. What should I do? I need to widen my knowledge of this world so I can execute my plan.“Here’s your tea, Your Highness,” the Butler said.I just nodded my head while my eyes fixed on the book in front of me and said, “We don’t have any books about the creatures in this world.”My Butler placed my tea in front of me and replied, “It’s because all the books that are related to other creatures and their history are in the Academy, Your Highness Celeste.”My forehead wrinkled when I heard what he had answered. Academy? I hadn’t heard about that Academy since my mind had been focusing on my sister, business, my parents, and my mate. Hearing about the Academy is making me bizarre.“W
“Just tell me if there’s something wrong, Calliope. I’m just going to take a nap,” I said while fixing the blanket on my couch. “I still have two hours for my meeting, right?”“Yes, Ma’am Ylva,” she answered.I’ll be taking a nap because I finished a bunch of my paperwork a while ago. I haven’t had a good sleep last time so I have to rest for a bit. My eyes seemed to fall a while ago and I couldn’t even understand the documents, so I finished it right away so I could take some rest.I glanced at the wall clock for a second before closing my eyes. That’s been hurting the whole time. I feel dizzy too, so I took some medicine to make my head feel better.....My forehead creased when the realization hit me. This place feels enchanted because there are a lot of birds flying freely while singing. Fireflies were dazzling, and the trees danced flawlessly. But my eyes darted to the creature in front of me. Half of her body is like a fish, while the upper part of her body is like a human being
Celeste Louve Ylva’s Point of View The moon is so dazzling that I can't take my eyes off it. Her delightful moonlight traveled to our planet, the Lycanthrope, and she was providing us with a gorgeous night. The stars were blinking as though they were trying to get your attention while simultaneously supporting the moon by shining magnificently and providing light to our planet. The wind also entered the picture, appearing softly and gently, allowing the grass, trees, and flowers to dance elegantly to the beat provided by the breeze. Birds and crickets began to sing, harmonizing with the moon, stars, trees, grass, and flowers that surrounded them. Finally, the grand entry of the firefly provided me with a breathtaking view from my window. "What an incredible view," I said quietly. My lips gradually gained a curvature. While looking at the ambiance, my eyes twinkled. "This is so magical," I declare as I sip my coffee, admiring the night sky and the incredible beauty of our planet.
With the sound of the aircon in my room, while my eyes were reading the documents, I couldn't help but zone out. The creature who appeared in front of my window last night makes me frightened. If that creature is going to talk to me, why didn’t she talk to my butler rather than appear in front of my window to scare me? I should forget about that and focus on the documents in front of me. "Finally!" I exclaimed as I accomplished my paperwork. I close my eyes and sit comfortably. I'm wondering whether I could go to the café today because I still have a lot of time. So, let me summon Calliope so I can notify everyone that I had to go early. I don't want somebody to have to put in any effort if they want to report something to me. After three rings, Calliope answered the phone, so I cleared my throat and said, "Calliope, please notify everyone that I will be leaving the company shortly because I have completed my paperwork. Please also adjust my study table for tomorrow. Thank you very
Deafening silence prevailed in my room. No one wants to speak. The whistling of the breeze can be heard outside my window. We're just feeling each other out, and I'm trying to calm down. "Get out," I ordered. Before exiting the room, I heard my maid sigh. My lips shook and a tear streamed down my cheek. The moon and stars did not show when I opened my eyes to gaze out my window because of the clouds that blocked them from gleaming. "Did you just sense my sadness, stars, and moon?" I inquired as if they would speak to me. I laughed and brushed my tears away. Crying isn't my thing, but being bold and furious is. I need to stop sobbing. Crying won't help me. I should think of anything that could help me find my sister, but first I need to clear my head. I bought a purse and a phone. I need to take a road trip to clear my thoughts so that I can concentrate tomorrow. I have a lot of meetings tomorrow, so I don't want to be distracted. I must be professional tomorrow because we have a l
When I got home, I spotted my butler standing in my living room. He smiled at me as if he expected me to return home right away after having taken a break. But he has no idea that I have finally met my partner. I just happened to see him at an inappropriate moment. This is not a suitable moment because I am still scavenging for my sister. I can't have anything else on my plate but the challenge I'm currently dealing with. There are several other issues in my daily existence, so why does he appear when I am not searching for him?I don't blame my mate for showing up unexpectedly, but it ought not to be this moment since I might not be able to focus on anything.I assumed that if I aired, the problem would go away instantaneously, or at least for a while, so why did it suddenly worsen?I know I'm his mate, and I ought to believe him, but I can't right now, especially since what happened to my sister has left me scarred. My sister was unexpectedly stolen away the last time we trusted her.
