Mary's past Part II

Third Person’s POV;

“Alpha King Cole and I were childhood sweethearts” She revealed the truth finally.

“WHAT!” Rose and Mark shouted in utter shock.

“At first, we were childhood best friends, living and training in the same pack, but we didn’t know when we crossed the boundary of friendship and developed feelings for each other” Mary said awkwardly as she added,

“He was the crown prince at that time and I was the Beta’s daughter. He was going to be the next King and he wanted me to be his Queen. Everyone thought we were perfect for each other as our strength and compatibility matched as well. We were going to marry after the coronation ceremony which was in a couple of months” Mary continued and all of them listened quietly like they were listening to a fairy tale.

Only Mike was frustrated to hear his wife talking so dreamily about another man so he added,
