Your emotions are your biggest enemy!

Elijah’s POV;

“Your mate is here” My heart began pounding against my chest, the moment I heard those words.

So, I was right. She is here already. She came for me.

It’s been days since I met her but I already feel like I know everything about her. I don’t know how but this is crazy.

Is it how being each other’s ‘soulmate’ means?

“Where is she staying?” I asked plainly, keeping my excitement under control.

I am the Future Werewolf King, I am not allowed to show my emotions in front of others. As my father always say, ‘Your emotions are your biggest enemy!’

“She is staying at your chambers, Your Highness. Ms. Swan was the one who came up with this idea. I tried to..” the servant was dripping with sweat.

Must be because Layla didn’t inform me about this and not everyone is allowed to stay at Crown Prince’s chamber, not even his mate until they are marked.

I don’t know how she managed to lure mom for this but I am really proud of her.

‘Good Job, Layla!’

“Very well. You may leave now” I smi
