I am livid. How dare he try to command me. I am his mate, not his toy. He will realize you don’t play around with me and leave unscathed. He may be an Alpha, but I am a purebred warrior, and he will learn, or he will learn not to cross me ever again.

Ryker’s aura is oppressing everyone. I can feel my mom’s wolf, Sylvia whimpering, my mom trying to diffuse the situation. She knows what will happen if I submit to my rage.

“Marix and I will go since we have to escort Carolina back to Highplains,” I heard Bryant say. He grabbed Marix’s hand and walked away.
