Chapter 12 - Dira’s POV - Meet the parent

We made it to my mom’s house, and I didn’t know what to expect. My mom has always been pro my happiness, forgetting her own after dad died. I tell Ryker my dad passed away, and thank the goddess he hasn’t pried on that.

“I am surprised you didn’t take my car keys and drive?” I ask him.

“Well, it is your pack, and you know the way around better than me. It gives me more time to stare at you blatantly,” he said with a big smile.
