Chapter 130

Amelia pov

“What abilities do you mean?” I asked her, and she chuckled and then groaned simultaneously. I could tell she was already frustrated by me, but all I needed right now was to know the truth.

I did not care how frustrated she was going to be; it was all her fault for not telling me anything, just staying inside my body all locked up.

“You have to tell me everything. I don't want you beating around the Bush. I told you multiple times, no beating around the Bush”, I said to her, and finally, she was beginning to talk.

“Let me tell you something: Your mother has a powerful lineage, and they see the future, but up until now, I don't know if Alpha Damian knows that you could see the future, and that was why he took you with him right from the start or only Aaron knows about it, which would be very bad because Aaron would be chasing after you right now to kill you. He sees you as an implement. Aaron used his power to become a priest to see you to the future and connect with the Moon Goddess, but I could not give you the power because they would keep chasing you, and most importantly, Alpha Damien will not let you rest. He sees your mother in you, and do you want the most breaking news? He knows your father; he knows your mother. That is the reason why you don't have a family right now,” she said to me, which broke me into pieces. I could not believe it. The same abandonment was still the same reason why everything was getting so complicated for me.

“So you mean Alpha Damian buying me from Isabelle and Alpha Rozan was not a mistake?” I said as I was even more shocked than how I sounded.

It felt like I imagined things, and it hurt me so badly. It seemed like everything I had known from the beginning was nothing but a lie. I couldn't even believe that Alpha Damian knew my mother and knew my father, yet he made me suffer so much. I had to pass through all those things for him.

I cleaned my tears, which I had felt dropping down my cheeks as I cleared my throat. Any truth, She said was going to hurt me so badly, but yet, I wanted to hear it.

“I really want to know, and I was tired of it being kept from me everything, and even though it hurts, you still need to tell me because I need to know why exactly all this had to happen to me. Where is my mother? Where’s is my father.” I said to her, and just then, Melody walked out of the room with her mother's photo in her hands.

She seemed a bit puzzled as to why I was talking to myself, and I also did not even know how I was going to explain to her, so I kept quiet as Melody slowly walked into the sitting room and looked around like she was in a fright, and then I cleared my throat and smiled awkwardly at her.

“I was not talking to anyone; I was just talking to my inner wolf, as I wanted to find out the truth. I told you that my inner wolf was locked, and when I finally got her open, she was struggling to tell me the truth.”I told Melody, who nodded in realization, and then I noticed that I couldn't hide anything from Melody anymore.

If I just continued talking to my inner wolf, I'd return my attention to my inner wolf.

“Now you can talk; tell me where is my mother and where is my father. why can I not find him? He told me this is my fatherland, but nobody, my father, exists. I don't even know if I am related to the RedMoon pack”.I said to my inner wolf in frustration, but I tried a little bit to hold in so that Melody would not see me as a weaker person than my inner wolf.

Just when my inner wolf was about to respond to me, Melody spoke,

“do you know why I helped you from the start”, she said, which also made me a bit puzzled because I also did not know why she helped me from the start.

Now, with those words for Melody, I turned my attention to her.

“Why did you help me?” I asked her, but she seemed a bit shaken, and instead of speaking, she looked down to the floor for a few minutes. She contemplated in her mind before finally speaking up.

“I helped you because you have a striking resemblance with the Alpha of Redmoon pack,” she said, and even though I never wanted that to be what was happening, even though what my thoughts kept telling me, was it what I wanted? I could tell almost immediately that who my father was had to do with the Alpha of this pack;

maybe he was once an alpha, or that was why my inner wolf could keep me so hidden from the truth for so long.

I thought to myself but decided to keep quiet and listen to melody’s words also ask her more questions and not make an assumption.

I paced closer.

“Melody, what do you know about the Alpha, and why do you think I look like him?” I said to her, and then she shook her head negatively.

“I did not bring you here because I only thought you looked like him, I knew you had a destiny to fulfill here in Redmoon pack, and I wasn't going to just let you leave that way. He also had a daughter who died years ago and his wife too, which also complicates this. I don't think you would want to hear why exactly things are that way,” she said to me, making me suddenly scared of what she was going to say next as I felt my life would just get more miserable.
