Chapter 131

Amelia pov

I smiled in confusion because I could not even understand why Melody would pick me up, help my life, and even keep me safe in her house just because she thought I looked like the Alpha of their Kingdom.

So many people looked like Alphas of the Kingdom. Why was mine so different?

I paced even closer to her as she seemed a bit shaken each time. I moved closer to her, but I didn't care, as all I needed right now was for her to tell me where exactly she thought I was a striking resemblance to the Alpha because, after that, I would need to go back to my inner wolf and make her tell me everything she keeps from me.

“Why do you see me as a resemblance? I need to know why…” I said to her making her smile as it was so much, and this time around, was fake than the one she usually had on her face, which made you know that there was more to this situation than I was letting on.

“Just tell me the truth, or, if possible, show me a photo of Alpha Alken so that I will know what is going on,” I said to her, and without wasting any more time, she went into the bedroom and came back with a photo of Alpha Alken, which she showed slowly, I glanced through the photo, and I could swear on my life that he was the exact copy of me, not just me;

He was the exact copy of the man I usually saw in my dream and out of fright, I threw the picture to the ground, making it smash pieces and also shocking Melody, who picked it up.

“Why would you smash the picture!”She cried, but I was so shocked at realizing I had seen both Alpha Alken and her mother in my memories.

I stepped back in fright as I did not know if I would tell Melody this. I would never, ever want to be in a situation where I would be related to Melody or even be the missing daughter.

It started to make sense to me that I might be the missing daughter, but I just did not want to be the missing daughter, no matter what, because I knew how much hatred she would have for me.

I knew how much hatred Melody would have for me because her mother's missing daughter was the reason Everyone saw her as nothing but bad luck and a mistake.

“Why are you being silent?”Melody asked me, and I looked at her with pity. I couldn't say it, and that hurt me even more than anything because I had just made her tell me the truth, and now I was going to keep a sippy. That was much more than the truth she had just told me.

I looked away from her and tried to connect with my inner wolf, as I also needed advice on what to do, and surprisingly, my inner wolf replied to me immediately.

“Now you understand what I meant. Will you tell Melody that you think her mother is also your mother and you're the missing daughter?” My inner wolf told me without me even asking, and I knew for me to uncover all the truth. I needed to be brave, ready to tell Melody the truth.

Even though I felt scared of telling Melody the truth, I still knew I had to tell her one way or the other; That was the only way I could proceed in knowing what was going on if I told her the truth.

I braced myself and walked closer to Melody as I stared at her in pity, ready to tell her the truth. I knew the truth would be bitter, but I had to tell her anyway.

“Melody, I think we're related”, I told her, but all she did was chuckle, and she tried to gather the images that I had pieces on the floor as she stared up at me from time to time. After finishing packing it up, she stood up and stared at me.

“What do you mean by we are related?” She asked, making me swallow my fear ready to talk.

I did not know how else I would break the world down to Melody, but I knew it was time. Even though I wasn't sure about it, I still needed to tell her, so I pulled her to a seat and sat her down.

She looked at me a bit puzzled, but I knew it was time to get over whatever. I cleared my truth and began by telling her about how she solved similarities between me and Alpha How; I also made her remember that I once looked at her mother's picture of familiarity as I got to know from my inner wolf that her mother was also my mother.

She stood in shock immediately as she paced around the room, but this time around, I did not bother chasing after her and just watched her because I knew she was going to get over it soon.

She stared at me for a few seconds, and I also stared at her quietly, waiting to hear what she was about to say, but instead, she shook her head.

“It can never be possible we are related. “ She said aggressively while I thought of another way to calm her down.

“Or maybe your mother and my mother are just sisters.” She glared at me angrily and yelled,

“my mother had no sister!”

I could not understand why she yelled at me like that. And just when I was about to talk to her or calm her down, we heard a loud bang on the door.

“Who could it be?” I said out of fear.
