Chapter 137

Amelia pov

I became a bit scared as I wondered what my father's words would be. Then he moved closer to me;

“he cannot be your mate. What sort of thing is the moon Goddess trying to do with me? Why would she turn everything around when I was never at fault? I lost Ashina through his father, and now she binds you two together. I would never agree to that,” he said to me, and I could feel my world crashing into pieces. I could not believe he was saying this.

I thought he would support me despite everything, but from the look of it, he wasn't supporting me at all, so instead, I decided to do him wrong.

“Luther is not a bad person, you are the one seeing him as a bad person, but he is the best person. He is the one who has been supporting me all this while, and honestly, do you want to hear his groundbreaking news?” I told my father and then turned to Luther because I knew the news I was about to give would shatter both of them, and even Luther had no idea of it.

I knew I was being unfair to my father since Alpha Damian was his enemy, but I needed to say it because I would not lose Luther because of a mistake his father made. I gathered up enough courage and spoke to my father again.

“I am pregnant for Luther, and that child is the only heir to the Silver Moon Park.” I said to my father and He couldn't believe what I was saying, but I didn't care.

As I turned around to face Luther, he seemed so stunned. I smiled at him and he quickly covered up his stunned face with a wide smile.

“I cannot believe we're pregnant. All this while, it's a good thing it happened now. That way, I would not be able to lose you,” he told me, and my father just stood there staring at both of us.

“I would never allow you two together unless Alpha Damian goes down on his knee and begs me for all the things he did should suffer”, My father said, and I couldn't help but rush up to him and hug him tightly.

I could not believe he had accepted the both of us. Now, all we needed to do was to face Alpha Damien, which was more complicated than I thought. Before I could do that, I needed my power back for Alpha. Damian had Aaron with him, and I knew Aaron would be in total control.

I rushed to Luther and prepared to tell him about My plans, but I noticed he was hesitant despite finding out I was with his child. He was still hesitant like he had not come here for an alliance, and something I did not expect had delayed him. I decided it was time for me to ask him the question and know why he was acting weird.

“Luther, What is wrong with you?” I told him that, but he suddenly started scratching back and forth, like he was afraid of telling me what was wrong.

I moved even closer to him and healed your hand tightly. “You must tell me what is wrong if you want us to solve this and dethrone your father”. He looked at me, a bit scared, and then looked at my father, even more scared. He bent and whispered in my ear. “I don't think it would be a good thing if your father heard what I am about to say.” He whispered to me, and then I looked at my father.

There was nothing else I was going to hide from him anymore, so I decided Luther wasn't going to say this or whatever he had to say to me secretly.

“Even if you say it secretly, I will still say it to my father”.I said to Luther, who was shaking but finally talked.

“on my way to see your father, whom I have never met before. I bumped into my father’s beta. And he locked me up. I could not understand why my father had clearly said in front of everybody that I would be going to be an ally. Then he stopped me and locked me up in that deserted area. I did not know where to go until after ten days or more” He paused.

“My father came to me and told us to make a deal that he was slowly getting old, and he wanted to give me a chance to become his son in the presence of everybody, which was something I wanted so badly. It had been my dream from the very beginning of everything, and I wanted it so badly. He knew that that was the only weakness I had, and he was using it against me. He said all I had to do was go to Silver Moon Park and make my father join hands with him as he had a gift for my father, which I had no idea of. Still, when I was about to agree, I found out the truth is you were the gift he had for your father, Amelia, for he married you because he wanted to take over Redmond Park, which belongs to your father, and he wanted to use me as a scapegoat. Now, I cannot return home without having an alliance with your father. I knew you were missing.”I couldn’t believe what he had just said…did he really just mean what he had just said.

“What did you mean when you saw me? You acted surprised. Are you trying to tell me it was just an act? “I asked Luther, and then I could see the fear in his eyes. Did he act like he was surprised to see me here?

“Yes..yes I knew you were here and that was why I was the first person you saw.” He said and for the first time he was tearing up..what had he done?
