Chapter 129

Amelia pov

I could not understand why my inner wolf was so strong-headed, but I needed to find out the truth, and at this stage, I was too determined to give up. I picked up the name knife, and I was ready to do the unspeakable to myself.

I could not understand what was happening and why she acted that way, so I picked up the knife on the counter.

I could not understand why she was doing this to me but I was not ready to give up so, I picked up the knife on the counter and stopped myself on the arm two times as a way of not giving up and even with that she still did not see anything which confused me even though I could not understand what was so hard for her to tell me the secrets…I could not understand why she decided to keep it a secret from me.

Just when I thought she was not going to agree to eat I picked up the Knife  and was about to stab myself again when she screamed and I knew that I had won. I smiled in Victory as I dropped the knife down on the counter.

I walked slowly towards one of the sofa and sat down with Damite still in my hand, as I cleared my throat and my mind ready to get exactly what she was going to tell me. just then I could feel her inside me being a bit shaken by what she was about to say.

“ You want to know the whole truth, I am going to tell you but you should be ready to embrace  anything you hear from me” she said to me and the way she placed the words made me also a bit scared.

“Just start talking, and don't waste time telling me anything else. I don't need your warning..you have said that’ too many times”, I told her I was ready to hear whatever she had to say.

“Fine, I'm going to start by telling you one very shocking truth: Your father is alive, and he knows you exist but never found you.” She said and I couldn’t help but stumble on my seat while trying to keep my composure.

“Start talking, and don't waste time”. I said to her with something more like a threat.

She chuckled before continuing.

“I know that you are scared. Do not forget I live inside of you, so I know when you are scared, but you're just trying to be brave. I am only telling you this because I think it's high time the end game begins.” She said,

I could not understand what she meant by the end game, but I was still very much prepared. It seemed like my inner wolf did not understand how ready I was to know everything happening.

“So, I'm going to begin from the very start: don't you ever wonder why exactly your father never came back for you and why I said you were in your fatherland immediately? You landed in Redmoon pack because you are a lineage that comes with so much power, and that is one of the reasons you cannot control me because I hold all your power for you till you are ready to use it. All these cannot be told to you if you don't know the kind of power you have and why you are passing through.”

“All this is because I do not want you to die yet. People with your kind of power are only limited in the werewolf world, and honestly, I don't think you guys are even up to ten. If anything should go wrong with you, one more powerful wolf is going to die”, she said, which complicated my mind because this was not what I expected her to tell me.

I sat up even straighter as I knew everything was getting much more complicated.

But first, I wanted to know the kind of power I had that I had an idea about or was even told. I chuckled to myself as I found myself a bit dumb.

Why else would I think I would know about my power when I didn't even have anyone to tell me about it, and Alpha Rozan saw me as his trailing cat? He could just help, but I wouldn't be that victim anymore. I cleared my throat and now was ready to know.

“I want to know everything, including my powers. What kind of powers, How do I use them, and why was it kept hidden? Only then would I understand what was going on,” I said to my inner wolf.

“You remember Aaron,” she asked and I began to think who was Aaron, and then I remembered it was the weird man whom Alpha Damian had brought and said it was his longtime friend.

“Yes, I remember who Aaron is,”I said to her,

“That Aaron you see has the same power as you do,” she said, and I was even more confused because I did not understand the kind of power she meant.

I never saw Aaron as someone who had any powers.

“I don't think Aaron has any powers, Leah, because he was just an ordinary wolf the last time I saw him,” I said to her, making her laugh so loudly. I wondered if I was the dumb one because she was just the one never telling me what she was going on.

"What does it mean that it has the same power as us?" I asked Leah. I was feeling frustrated with her tendency to beat around the bush instead of getting straight to the point. When I raised my voice, Leah fell silent for a moment before continuing.

"You might not realize it," she said, "but Aaron is actually related to you. Your mother comes from a powerful lineage, which is why she passed down her to you, Alpha. Damian has been watching you for a long time, even since the day you were born. He waited until you were grown up to approach you because he knows why you have the same abilities as your mother."
