Chapter 125

Amelia’s pov

This must have been a perfect opportunity because I could not believe that in one night. I was able to run from the Silver Moon Pack to the Redmond Pack, which made me very confused, but I still kept a brave and straight face. Just then, I noticed that a mysterious figure was following me, and my heart almost pulled out of my chest in fear.

I still tried to walk, but the fear in me was getting worse, so I began to walk very quickly as I could feel the shadow still falling after me, which made me wonder, who would have known me and would take me as a victim that night.

I noticed that my luggage was making me very slow, so I picked it up and placed it on my head as I ran as fast as my leg could take me, but just then, I felt a tight grip on my hand, making me scream as my luggage fell or whoever held my hands, only for me to turn around and see a beautiful lady who looked so angelic.

Okay

I couldn't believe she was a real person even though lots of people said I was one of the most beautiful in Silver Moon Pack, this lady was an exception, my luggage had just fallen on her body a bit,

“You look a bit weird and I kept following you to find out what was wrong. You were scared and might just end up running away from me when it wasn’t like I was going to harm you.” she said to me, and even though I was scared, I decided I was not scared;

“I just thought it was a male that was falling after it turns out you are a female, so I am fine with that,” I said to her. She smiled before stretching out her hand at me, which meant she wanted to have a handshake.

“ It is nice meeting you.”

I smiled in satisfaction at the fact that I had met someone new and might be of great use to me, so I stretched out my hand and shook her back. but she didn't let go immediately; instead, she healed it even tighter.

“My name is Melody,” she said to me, and I knew immediately that I could be comfortable with her, so I decided to tell her my name

“My name is Amelia,” I said to her, and immediately she squeezed her face like she was trying to recall ever hearing the name before, but without wasting any time, her face became calm again.

I felt at ease too, because I could tell that she had no idea about me or my existence, but that also puzzled me because I expected her to at least have heard about me being the Luna of such a trendy pack, but I wasn't ready to argue about it any further.

She stared at me weirdly and then said to me,

“Do you need need somewhere to stay?” She asked me which made me think if I had somewhere to go from here, and I know I can Luther if I end up going in search of him. Do I even know the location of the palace? I asked myself and finally decided to say the truth shamefully.

“I don't have a place to stay”. I told her, and then she smiled, collecting my luggage from me and held my hand.

“Let's go to my place; I live alone in a huge building because my mother is late so I would fancy company. I also have a little trading job around there, so you might just be able to help me. “ she said to me and then I followed her..her house was huge and  It was wonderful, and the building around it also looked wonderful. I saw a picture of her mother, and I felt like I had seen the woman somewhere.

I continued to stare at the picture while trying to recover exactly. I had seen this person, but I just couldn't remember. Just then, Melody rushed up to me. I tapped my shoulder as if she was trying to cool me down, but she was the one already tearing up.

“I looked at her with a puzzled stare, and she smiled. That is my mother, and she died a very long time ago.” Melody said to me.

I continued to stare at the picture, and Melody could also notice my words there as she giggled, making me turn to look at her.

“Do not worry; she does not look very familiar to anyone; many people do not know what she looks like for real, and do you know why that is because even I don't know what she looks like? She died at a very young age, and I could only remember very few memories of her and nothing else,” she said to me, making me reassured from staying at Melody. I could tell that we were of the same age, but I just couldn't understand why this woman seemed so familiar to me and why I felt pulled to her.

I walked away from the picture and sat on the sofa while trying to think of another memory or at least connect to my inner wolf. But she was not answering me, which frustrated me, and Melody just walked out, which meant she went to do something. So I was alone, and just then my wolf connected with me.

“Finally, you decided to respond to me,” I said to my inner wolf, who chuckled.

“I had to respond to you because I was happy you were able to take the big step and leave Silver Moon Park, and now you are back on your father's land,” She said to me, making me even more scared and puzzled as I wondered what she meant.

“What do you mean by my fathers land? Do you know who my father was?” I asked her in shock..
