Chapter 124

Amelia pov

I fell on the floor as I held my tummy tightly in my hands, unable to understand what exactly was going on; why would my tummy ache so much and feel so twisted? I sat on the bare grass and tried to connect with my inner wolf, but she was not responding.

I couldn't understand the kind of inner wolf I have that never responded to me when I needed her for an important thing or issue. I continued to call on her, hoping she would answer me, but none of that happened.

I decided to stop trying to force her to come to me, and just when I was away from the Silver Moon Pack, that's what was wrong.

Another pulled again, and this time, it came with a lot of puking from me as I couldn't understand why I felt that way; even though I could recall a week or a few days ago, I felt nauseous.

I thought it was just because I was distant from Luther. Still, now I knew it wasn't because of Luther, so because of that, I wasn't able to run anymore but instead dragged my luggage with me and continued down the same path I had taken from the start, and that was when I came in contact with a little inn and walked into The inn in hopes to find a solution to what was wrong with me.

I looked around the inn, and everything felt awkward and weird, but I was ready to wave it all away as I walked in slowly and towards the receptionist, who seemed a bit busy but staring at her. I could tell she was going to be a very nice and charming person.

I stood before her nervously, and she stared at me from head to toe. I wasn't scared about asking her the question I had in mind, but what scared me the most was that she might end up recognizing me; she might know me as the Luna from the park just close to this territory.

She smiled at me wildly and stood up from her seat, moving closer to the counter to be close. as she could tell, I didn't want to say anything loud for anyone around us to hear but wanted to say it all, and it turned more like a whisper.

“What do you need, you seem a bit bothered,” She said to me, and I smiled in satisfaction.

She was going to be the kind of lady who would understand me. I moved even closer to her and muttered, “I need assistance with a particular problem, and I saw this place, and you will be a huge help to me.” I said to her, and then she smiled before moving out of her counter and healing my hands in hers as she sat me on the chair not too far from a few couples who sat down and, I think, were going through the menu of the Inn.

She glared at me from head to toe, and I could tell she was trying to find out wrong. I couldn't tell what was wrong with me, so she stretched out her hand, signaling me to place mine on it, which I did immediately, and she smiled after rubbing my hand for a few minutes.

“You don't have to be so scared; you are pregnant and it’s already a few days old but your wolf makes it seem like nothing is wrong with you. Why don't you take a rest or at least return home?” She said to me but I couldn't believe it, and even without being told, I knew immediately that it belonged to luther, I was running away with Luther's child, and even he was not aware of it. I knew running away at this point was risky, but I had no choice. It wasn't like Alpha Damian had any idea about it.

I made up my mind that I was going to run away either way, and I was not ever going to return. I picked up my luggage and held it in my hand tightly as I was so determined and happy at the same time; even though it was a bit difficult to believe her, I had no choice but to believe because as I began to think about it, she seemed to be very right that everything all led to one thing, and this wasn't my first time, so I knew she was right.

I was just being so paranoid and too stuck up with my plan to escape that I never thought about.

I thanked the mysterious lady and made my way out of the Inn. When I remembered, I needed to ask her about this territory.

I needed to know the name of the new park I had stumbled into, so I turned around, and the lady was still staring at me. I walked up to her, and I felt like the question I was about to ask her would keep her in an inconvenient state.

“I am sorry for the disturbance, miss, but I need to know what name this pack is known as,” I said to her, and she smiled.

“You don't have to apologize for asking a simple question. This pack is called Red Moon Pack, and it's Very well known for its powerful lefaders, which makes me wonder why you don't know about this park or have any idea about where you stopped. Are you sure you don't need help, or if you're not a bit lost and confused because I can always help you,” she told me, but I shrugged as a sign that I did not need her help. Then I walked out and into the deserted road. It had already become very lit in the night, and even the street was deserted of people.

Only a few vehicles were going back and forth, which made me a bit scared, but I wasn't just going to run away like that, so I continued working gently as I couldn't help but smile in victory at the fact that I was going to give good news to Luther.
