Heathrow barged into Delia's room. His annoyance and disappointment were obvious. He didn't want Delia to ruin all they have planned, to him they had done way to much to spoil it all now.
Heathrow was taken by surprise as he found Delia on her bed screaming and crying. Her black dress laid on the ground, totally ripped apart. She was seated on her bed wailing with only her underwear. Heathrow picked up a towel and covered her with it, and gently embraced her. He could feel the warm tears fall on his shirt and he felt compassionate. He murmured a few words of encouragement but Delia took none, she kept on wailing aloud and screaming in desperation. After a while, she stopped screaming and then began to accuse Heathrow for her sorrows. "YOU LIED TO ME. I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU MORE THAN I HATE HER. YOU'RE SUCH A LIAR.""Delia, I've never lied to you and I'll never lie to you, and… you know that. You know that, Delia. I will never lie to you." "But…what about when you told me that when my mother dies, I'll be free from weakness, you told me that when she's dead I'll be powerful, unstoppable and godlike." "Yes. Yes, I meant all of it." "Really, because it seems like I'm now the exact opposite of what you promised. Now, I have to cry and weep like a baby. I have to look like a grieving weak little girl every time someone passes, and…I'm pretty sure that that's not how POWER FEELS LIKE!!!" Heathrow shifted a strand of hair across her face and held her face with his two large hands. "Delia, all you need to do to attain such power is to exercise some Patience." "PATIENCE!!! Oh no, I'm so so done with that, okay? I'm done with the acting, the pretense, the good girl behaviour, the crying, telling lovely stories that never happened, I'm done with all of that. I WANT ACTION." "OK, OK, OK. No problem, we will act but for now, making everyone know that you killed your own mother will result in a rebellion. So you have to wait for the appointment of you as the new Alpha and after that you can do everything you want." "Did you hear me at all, Heathrow or have you suddenly grown DEAF. I WANT…." "ACTION." Heathrow yelled back, his voice making Delia tremble with fear. "If you really want the Power that you so much desire, you'll have to listen to me. You know that I'm your only chance of getting power, so listen and learn. You literally have two options, either you listen to me and gain Power or you FAIL. Then,we both know that in time everyone will find out that you are the KILLER, and then you will be crushed like a little powerless cockroach that you are… currently." Delia eyes were fixed on Heathrow and she watched as he stood up and walked towards the door. At the door, he said. "One last thing. I am fed up with your insults. For god's sake, I'm your Uncle. You had better grown some manners or I'll teach you some." Heathrow slammed her door shut as he walked out of her room. He silently cursed Delia as he walked into his room and from his reading table, picked up a golden coin and a big old book which had probably survived for centuries. He put on a dark cloak before walking out and locking the door. From the silence of the house, it was obvious that no one apart from Delia was inside, so he walked freely to his horse which he had tied to a tree at the back of the house. From there he rode into the large fields and was headed to the Wolfblood River.Reven watched Natalie and her pack talk to the Seers also known as the History Keepers.
After some time, she walked away from the group and walked into the faraway hills. He followed her for several minutes until he was certain that they were far enough from her Pack, before he came out from hiding. "Hey there." She said aloud, taking Reven by surprise. She knew he was following her immediately she had separated from her Father and the rest. At first, she had wanted to run back and scream that she was being stalked, but she didn't because she somehow figured out that she actually enjoyed his hidden company. She found herself smiling sheepishly as she walked further into the hills. Her nerves were boiling and her breathing was fast and unsteady. She took a deep breath as she saw him appear behind her and then she said. "Hey there."
It was clear that she had shocked him as she watched him jerk back with shock, but he soon retained his composure and blessed her with a charming smile. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest, she didn't know how to behave, she didn't know what to do, she just stood there staring at him. He chuckled. "I'm Fayne." Natalie memories of seeing Reven amongst the Skull pack kicked back in. Her heart beat slowed down and she seemed rather disappointed than annoyed. "OK. So, Fayne why are you stalking me?"He smiled. "I'm not stalking you, I'm just strolling like you are." "No, you are stalking me, and I don't like being stalked." "Yeah, I too." "What do you mean?" "I saw you in the morning peeping from your window." Natalie's heart stopped for several seconds. She wished the ground could open up and swallow her. Oh no he saw me, this can't be happening. No no no no.Reven smiled as he watched her confidence wash up into shame. "But, it's okay. I'm not pressing any charges against you." She gave a weak smile. "I'm so sorry about that." "There's nothing to be sorry about. To be honest, I kinda liked it." He said partially laughing. "Now we are even, I guess." They stared at each other for a short while until Natalie said; "I have to leave now before my father begins to worry. It's nice meeting you, Fayne." She walked as fast as her leg could go but before she could get out of his sight, he called out; "Before you go, could you please tell me your name?" She smiled but didn't look back. "It's Natalie." "Lovely name." She felt really uncomfortable and wanted nothing more than to disappear from there. "Bye, Fayne." She walked away even faster than before."Taz, what exactly did you see?" Niue Yoda, one of the twelve history keepers said. They were by the side of the great temple facing the Wolf blood river. The sounds of the clashing waves and the river birds creating a pleasant music. "What I saw wasn't really clear? But I am sure of what I heard." "And what did you hear?" "I heard Yvonne screaming, shouting in desperation. She was screaming and weeping in the most horrible way I've heard." "Did she say anything, Taz?" "Ummm…nothing much, she was just shouting the word,No,over and over again." Niue looked up and thought for several seconds. "I think it's because she was murdered. She must be seeking Justice."
He woke up with his eyes blurry, the room was upside down and his eyes ached. He attempted sitting up but he gave up on the way up. He moaned as he collapsed back on the bed. He shut his blurry eyes and took in several deep breaths. The pillows were soft and relaxing and so was the bed, and it was then he wondered where he was. He opened his eyes and looked around the room. It was a lady's room filled with decorations and pictures. The wall was a mixture of light purple with white and so were the bed dressings. By his side was a giant Pink Teddy bear with a which poster on its neck which read;Pinkie PollyThe room had a pleasant scent of Lavender mixed with Jasmine. To Reven who was used to a large but scanty bedroom, the room was magical. He stood up, ignoring the intense pain in his legs and his aching back. He managed to hop to see the numerous pictures and portraits on the wall.In th
Reven took a horse and rode as fast as he could to the conference building. His mind was racing as he remembered what he had heard the previous night. What if this is an ambush? What if it's all a setup to attack my father? Shit!He rode through the market knocking down a lot of displayed goods and he got equal amount of curses from the sellers. He didn't care much about their insults, as long as you're from the skull pack, you are sure of getting cursed and insulted from everyone. They were all hated and feared everywhere, for good enough reasons. Most skull pack members used their strength and agility to subdue others and make fun of them, but Revenue didn't pass the market to bully nor deliberately destroy their goods, he only passed there because it was the shortest route to the conference building. It took him twenty minutes to get to the conference buildi
Handogan couldn't bear any longer. For the past one hour, they had all been arguing because of who to start the meeting. He wondered how they'll react when he brings up disturbing topics. "Enough!! Can we all behave mature about this. I am well aware of our differences and our dislikes for each other but can we all put that aside and talks about the main issues. Please, we need to cooperate for anything to work out well today." "Exactly." Euvene added, as he noisily gulped the remaining wine from the bottle in his hands. Euvene was nothing but a disappointment to his parents and his twin brother, Simion. Reven had no problem with Euvene, he saw him as a funny lad who hated disturbing himself with burdens or worries, but sought the comfort of things like; Food, Vodka, Rum, Wine and Ladies, and Reven respected his personality and was proud to call him 'brother' anytime and anywhere. &
All eyes were on Heathrow. Everyone apart from Reven was curious to hear the suspect. Heathrow cleared his throat and said in a thick, clear, and firm voice. "To be sincere, I know who the killer is. I was a witness to the murder." Handogan who was now growing impatient, asked,"And who is it?" Delia in confusion, whispered to Heathrow; "what are you doing? Do you want to set someone else up? Answer me." Heathrow acted deaf and didn't respond to Delia. Handogan asked again, "We are not going to spend the whole day here, so if you truly know who it is, it's best for you to speak." "Who is it, Lad?" Reno asked growing impatient. "It is no one else but…DELIA NEY." Delia, shocked to the bones, sto
Kate was ready to make a move. She slowly and quietly stretched to reach the sharp pocket knife. As she was about to get grip on the knife, a strong leg kicked her finger and the knife away. She screamed in pain as she was certain that at least two of her fingers were broken. As she looked up in agony to see the person who inflicted her with such pain, she was somewhat disappointed. It was Reven Darke, bastard son to Demenicus Darke. Although she had known he was from the Skull pack and was even known as the most heartless, savage, and brutal Skull pack wolf, which got him the nameDeath Keeperby the rest of the packs, when she saw him earlier he didn't look like the monster or Ripper that people had called him, she saw him as a dashingly handsome guy with the best facial and body features she had ever seen, and in her mind, she had silently hoped that the rumours weren't true.
She was shaking the cell gates furiously, screaming and crying at the same time. Her face was red and puffy and her lips were stained with blood. She kept on screaming the words, 'No! Please stop!' until she lost her voice and surrendered to crying. She fell to the ground and shut her eyes, giving up on hitting the strong cell gates She could hear the vicious sounds of horror beyond the cage, cries of pain and terror rang continuously in her ears and she blamed herself for every single bit of it. The terrible cries of pain gradually transformed to screaming voices and finally to faces pointing accusing fingers at her, shouting in desperation. The voices became louder and louder and she just couldn't bear it anymore. She attempted shutting her eyes tighter but rather it only made the faces more vivid and the voices even louder. Her fear gradually turned to anger and then to fury. Her breathing became fast, her forehead folded and her mouth formed a stern frown. In a few seconds, she
The wind blew rustling leaves as Natalie Kane sat on the very peak of a hill, staring at the beautiful view. She loved coming to the hill because it reminded her of the beauty of nature and the essence of life. The hill was known as The Wall by the rest of the pack because it separated the Deadbolt pack from other packs, but she named the hill, Life because of the feeling it gave her. She always felt more alive whenever she was up there, all her nerves were more alert and she felt a supreme sense of comfort. As she sat at the peak of the hill, she sighted Arie, her best friend, running from afar and screaming her name. Natalie sighed in annoyance, she hated it when she was interrupted by someone whenever she was on Life(the hill). As Arie grew closer, Natalie began to notice the panic in Arie's voice. She stood up in alert, picked her arrow and ran down the hill. As she ran towards Arie, she wondered on what

It was a beautiful scene indeed. The happy dancers shaking and moving in accordance with feathered and rainbow coloured costumes, shrieking in excitement. Reven felt highly entertained by the Singers and Dancers who made the burial look like a harmonious ceremony. He laughed occasionally at the dancers weird moves and at the singers flat lines, completely unaware of the turning heads and murmurs people made towards him. It took him a while to notice that he was the only person laughing and he was the only person in blue tee-shirts and a white short instead of the regular all black attire. He was the only odd person in the gathering and he didn't seem to mind. Reven was still laughing when Natalie came in with her father, her brother and the rest of her pack. Demenicus patted Reven on his lap and whispered in his ears, "Remember what I told you."&n
He was being chased by something.Something very large, very fast and very strong. His legs were tired and were beginning to shake. The creature howled loudly and it was clear that it was very close to him, closer than he had thought. It howled again and for the first time he noticed that the sound came from him.As he ran shakily, he staggered and fell down on the wet muddy ground with his face looking at the ground. He stayed like that for a while and he didn't hear the creature anymore. He raised his head up and was as still as a rock as he found himself in a blood pool surrounded by hundreds of people.Carefully, and slowly he looked down at the blood pool and with a high cry, screamed as he saw himself as theBEAST.Reven woke up screaming and shaking with fright.
