30. We Need To Capture Her!

Silvan’s POV

I was driving everyone back to the house, and the silence was deafening. It was strange that no one had said anything after what had occurred in the park, not even my sister.

I turned my gaze towards the mirror, hoping to meet her gaze, but she seemed lost as she stared out of the window.

My attention was placed fully on the road until I heard Katherine speak.

“Why are we going back home? That was her, right?”

I held onto Katherine’s words. She was referring to how Isla’s wolf had gotten the attention of every male.

I was certain that she was the one too, but I remembered what had happened earlier, the way she had moved away from me when I had tried to kiss her. My heart was dampened at that thought.

The sound of my mother’s voice forced me to tilt to the side, getting a glimpse of her stern face.

“Not another word, Katherine.” She said in a firm tone. “We will discuss more about it at home.”
