37. Wrapped Around Her Little Finger

Dario’s POV

I carried Isla in my hands, walking out of the warehouse. She had a bright smile on her face, one that could lighten up the whole room.

All of a sudden. I saw her face scrunch up in a small frown.

“What’s the matter?”

“I was just thinking of the fact that when I first heard the sound of cars. I thought it was Kate’s lover that arrived.”

“Kate’s lover?”

“Yes, the girl who captured me is Kate Silvan’s sister. She told me her lover was coming, and once he saw that I was captured, he would make her his queen.”

“Did she mention who the lover might have been?”

“No! She didn’t.” She shrugged.

I didn’t say anything after as the realisation hit me. There was someone else in the picture. Who could that be?

Immediately, we stepped out of the warehouse, I dropped her down, leading her to the car.

Once Isla was comfortably seated in the car, I shut the door and walked towards Jonas.
