-to see her smile.

Blue's POV;

"What did the king say?" Sarah asked the moment I exited the king's quarters.

"He doesn't care." I answered swiftly, walking hastily towards my own quarters.

"What! How could he say that, the rumors are indeed true!" She exclaimed, matching up to my space." So what are you going to do now?"

Her question ignited an idea in my head. I halted, my face lighting up in mischief. "But, do you know what he didn't say?" I asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"I do not really love the direction of your question. But fine, what didn't he say?" She responded, her eyes staring at me suspiciously.

Continuing my walk to my quarters, I answered,"Our dear king never said I couldn't do anything about it." I smiled brightly, feeling proud of the interpretation I just had.

"Uhm... I am afraid to ask. But what do you intend to do about it?"

I grinned at her question, and grinned even more on sighting Rosemary. "Just the woman I have been looking for."

Rosemary stood before my quarters, and once her eyes met with mine she bowed. "Your majesty."

"Rose, I want you to arrange a meeting with the lords. They should be at my quarters by six pm." I instructed Rose, walking past her into my quarters.

"What! I.. I don't think that would be possible, your majesty." She yelled, rushing after me.

"Then make it happen, Rose." I responded calmly, heading for my bedroom.

"Did the King give you an approval to hold a meeting?"

"No." I answered, opening the door of my bedroom.

"What? I thought, you had a meeting with the king?"

I sat on the bed, sighing. "Well... yes I did. He doesn't care." I gave answers to her question and she sat down slowly on the couch in shock.

I guess, just like me. She was hoping if the king did find out about the injustice going on out there, he would do something about it. We were both wrong.

"Then, going against the king would bring trouble to your quarters," She said firmly. As if passing across the message that she is not in support of my decision.

"I agree with Rose. I think it's best—"

"That I ignore it? That I care not for the welfare of the people that call me queen?" I stood up angrily from my bed, "And then they will keep on suffering. Many more would be turned into beggars when they can't pay the ridiculous high tax, many would lose their home, and worst... people would die!" I exclaimed in an outburst.

Rose and Sarah remained silent for a few seconds, then said in unison, "I apologize, your majesty."

"Good. Now send out messages to the Lords."

"But, I don't think they will come, since the message is not from the king," Rose voiced.

"Send it out."

"Yes, your majesty." Rose bowed and then exited my bedroom.

"Sarah, prepare an outfit for me."

"Yes, your majesty."

************

"They didn't come. Not even a single Lord showed up!" I grumbled angrily, my eyes staring at the empty room.

I had waited more than an hour, waited patiently for the lords and not even a single person showed up. They openly ignored me!

"Rose." I called, and she walked over to where I was seated. "Your, majesty." She answered softly.

"Are you sure they all got my invitation? Every single one of them?" I asked calmly, repressing my surging anger.

"Yes, your majesty. I sent out your message three times, and each time the messenger would return without a reply from the lords." Rose explained.

I stood up from the chair, "I have a meeting with the king, I can't be late. Neither can I wait any longer." I informed Rose and Sarah, already making my way to the doors of the meeting room, "and I will go alone."

I walked out of the meeting room, and headed straight to Hershel's workshop.

I got to Hershel's workshop and Wilder was already there. "Good evening, your majesty." Hershel greeted, bowing. But I was in no mood to exchange pleasantries, so I only nodded to his greetings.

"Everything okay?" Wilder asked, staring at me with what seemed like worry etched in his eyes.

Nah, there's no way in hell Wilder Reagan is worried about me.

"Nothing that concerns you." I responded harshly,

He stared at me for a flash second, and somehow the worry I saw in his eyes in that flash second felt like my imagination.

"Let's begin, Hershel." Wilder said to Hershel, standing up from the cabinet he was sitting on.

"I need both of you to reenact the previous trial we had." Hershel said, and I immediately took my stance opposite Wilder.

Wilder pulled off his shirt, but not even his out of the world black hole, could piqued my interest this time around.

"Okay. Begin."

I stretched out my hand, and just like the last time. I poured out my fire into Wilder's chest, and unlike last time... his chest did in-fact start to get healed, and little by little the hole closed up.

"Yes! It worked!!" Hershel celebrated, throwing his hands up in the air with a big smile on his face.

"Well... congratulations on closing up your chest. I will take my leave now." I said to Wilder, then exited Hershel's workshop with a frown spread across my lips.

Wilder's POV;

"So to sum up, the queen invited the lords for a meeting and none came?" I asked the female head of servants, my fist clenched at the thought of those twerps disrespecting my queen in such a humiliating way.

"Yes, my king." She answered, her eyes lowered to the ground.

"Hmm, I see." I mumbled, playing with an idea of how to punish them for this grave sin they had committed. "You are dismissed."

The head of servant bowed then exited Hershel's workshop.

"Do I need to tag along, as a healer?" Hershel asked, staring at me in full concentration.

"I promise, I will try to at-least let one of them live." I said to him, standing up from my sitting position.

"That is not-" I had already teleported out of there before he could complete his sentence.

Because my chest has now been completely healed, I now have my full powers once more. I am no longer weak, and so... those twerps chose the wrong time to hurt my queen.

With my super speed I breezed into the house of one of the lords, took hold of my victim, then teleported into the torture chamber, below the palace building.

Without wasting more time, I carried out the same routine on the remaining four Lords, and in no time I had all five of them sitting fearfully in the torture chamber, begging that I show kindness to them.

"Your names?" I asked, sitting across from them with a serious look on my face.

"Huh?"

"I had just realized that I do not know your name, and so it would be wrong of me to put an end to a living person whose name I do not even know."

"Wh... what! You can't do this to us! How dare you have us kidnapped!" One of the Lords, who I know to be the leader spoke out. And, of course, his foolish followers nodded in agreement, forgetting that I could end their lives within seconds.

I stood up from my seat, and then super sped to the idiot who dared challenge me, and without giving him a chance to react, I grabbed onto his hand, then I held onto two of his fingers with great strength.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Lord Alfred shouted at the top of his voice, as I ripped two of his fingers from his left hand. I threw his fingers to the ground, then teleported back to my seat.

Lord Alfred held on to the wounded part of his hand, wailing in pain. I found out his name from the other Lords, they had yelled his name the moment I yanked his two fingers.

"Your names." I said calmly, staring at them.

"My... I.. I am Lord Cecil."

"Lord... lord Marcus, My king."

"Lord Ansel."

"Lord Conrad." They all introduced themselves, their bodies shaken with fear.

"I will keep this short." I voiced, standing up, "by dawn if all five of you are not seated in the queens' meeting room, it won't be two fingers, I would be ripping off." I said harshly, then I exited the torture chamber not before instructing my night warriors to call on Hershel to treat Lord Alfred's hand and then lead the lords back to their different houses.

I hope this would finally get my queen to smile. I couldn't understand why— why my heart had felt heavy on seeing the frown etched on her face.

But at that moment, I had known that I would cut off the heads of whoever made her frown.
