Surprise

Blue's POV

I showed Wilder all the moves he had taught me, from parrying to sweeping, to blocking. I was pretty sure that at this point I was good at sword fighting now, at least, enough to defend myself. Both Wilder and I went on again with another spar, and although I was very close to getting the wooden sword from him, he stopped me with the tip of his sword pointing at my throat, touching my skin.

"Ah, I was so close!" I grunted playfully.

"You have gotten much better now. Way much better. If not for my experience, you would probably be pinning me down right now." He said while I beamed with delight. I love the fact that I was receiving a compliment, and the fact that it was coming from Wilder was a completely different thing. "I have something for you, by the way."

"Um, okay." I looked at my wet, damp cloth and shook my head. "I think you might have to let me take my bath first. I have sweat all over me. I need to get out of this clothes."
