Hunger

Blue's POV

Waking up with a burning hunger in my stomach wasn't my plan when I woke up in the morning, but it happened anyway. I felt hungry, in a way I have never felt before. Because of my flames, I never knew what it felt like to go hungry. I only ate because the food looked good and tasted good, not because I felt hungry.

Probably, my hunger is all because of the child inside of me. I can't explain it, but I just know it.

I yawned loudly, as I sat up on the bed, then... I stood up and walked over to the window. On opening the curtains, I realized that the sun was already up and hot.

This could only mean one thing: I woke up late.

"Who is there?" I called loudly, staring at my bedroom door.

"Yes, your Highness." Two maids rushed into the room immediately at my call, both bowing their heads.

"Janice, inform the kitchen to prepare my food. A brunch wouldn't be bad, and you, Racheal, get me ready."
