CHAPTER 1

In a calm environment under a big beautiful tree which serves as a shade at the center of the mansion. Nyla sits lonely and imagining the fear and shame to face her friends when the news of being in-love with her bro and even getting pregnant for him have gone viral. The moon is in full shape, the stars are sparkling endlessly, the insects gives out beautiful sounds. Everywhere appears brighter and adorable but rather its seems to be the darkest part of Nyla’s life.

Her mouth is heavy to say a word even to nature , her heart is filled with pain and regrets, her mind is disturbed with lots of rhetorical questions. Nyla is weak and confused and feels like everything is an illusion, she thinks she needs someone to talk to yet the fear of the disgrace, embarrassments and mockery she might go through if she dares go closer to anyone.

Huuuuh...! She exclaims aloud not knowing what to do anymore; she gets sounds of footsteps but could not tell the direction where the steps were coming from. At this point she thought the world had come to an end, uninvited tears blinded her charming eyes and she was about standing up, a hand touches her on her shoulder.

She was frightened and scream as if an angry python had beaten her. “Calm down Nyla, take it easy on yourself, it’s not the end of the world I’m here so you can talk to me, being this way will not solve any issue please stop being to hard on yourself”.

Still trying to figure out who was around her and talking to her like she had explain herself to someone already, unable to guess who this this voice is own by, Nyla sob bitterly as tears runs down her cheeks freely. Slowly she turn around and realized her best friend was standing next to her. Unable to believe and accept the presence of Mia, Nyla stamps. “M-I-a...! Is this you” ? “Yes! Yes! It’s me Nyla , stop this tears already” Mia said bringing her close to her as they both hugged each other tightly like they’re never going to recover from this hug.

Mia I’m finished! Nyla said still hugging Mia . Everything with be fine, just so soon I promise you will be alright, you need to put yourself together let’s see how we can figure this thing out. You’re my best friend Nyla and I will do anything for you, I will do everything thing I can see you happy again. Stop crying, come, sit here let’s have a word together.

Remember you’re the most beautiful version of yourself, so stop weeping and talk to me. Mia said in a confused way trying to calm Nyla down and avoiding any word that could hurt her in anyway or add to the pain she is still trying to fight it. Nyla and Mia are sitting and Nyla’s head is on the laps of Mia but both are just calm nobody is talking yet.

Nyla..! What have you eaten today? Mia put an end to the silence with a question. This is always their usual way of starting a conversation when they’re are together. I haven’t eaten anything yet and I’m not hungry Mia, I don’t feel like eating anything. Nyla said adjusting her head and placing it in a more comfortable way on Mia’s laps. I can’t think any further, I feel like I’m no longer exiting. Nyla said, sobbing even more faster.

That’s enough Nyla, stop this tears, stop crying, this will not help you in anyway you will only fall sick if you continue like this I’m here so we can talk as best friends and figure out things together. Mia advised. So tell me, how did you discover that Kai is your brother and is Kai aware that of this tragic drama? Mia asked calmly.

Yes Mia, he is aware of everything and he is as sad and confused like me. His number is not reachable, I haven’t talk him yet. @He must be heartbroken too” Mia said while staring at a blinking star beside her feet. Mia is anxious to know what happened and how Nyla found out the truth about this whole issue. She asked Nyla to explain everything to her.

Everywhere is dark and even the moon had slowly found its comfort in the arms of the thick dark cloud , only the blinking stars on the moonless sky brightens the environment. No creature seems awake except Nyla and Mia who are still sitting a comfortable shelter of a tree in the midst of this darkness. Nyla tea wants to her dad story to her friend but doesn’t find the area conducive or comfortable enough to narrate her tragic story to her friend.

She suggest that Mia should spend the night over at her place such that both can escape from the freeze of the cold and stay in her room for a better narration of this story. Mia almost rejected the idea of spending the night over at Nyla’s place because she hate facing her parents due to their physical appearance. She always stay out of the gate and wait for her friend to come out and meet her but will never go into their mansion. But this time around, Mia is force to sleep over because of the trauma her friend is going through and sleeping over might help her recover from this pain easily.

That’s fine Nyla, if sleeping over will make you feel better then I will! Mia said while trying to make Nyla stand such that they could go into the mansion. Thank you very much for this gesture Mia, I don’t know how I will repay you back Nyla said, almost crying again. That’s enough, let’s go in. They both walk in!
