"This past years has been tough after the demise of my father, my mother attempted suicide and it left her retarded which left me taking care of everyone. I had to work after classes so I can pay the bills, paint during my free time, take them to Mrs. Kolosoki's gallery and pray someone buys the painting. Now I am a graduate and my paintings are going places, finally things are starting to play out nice", so I said to myself. Walking about in my room feeling a surge of happiness in me, while I was in my thoughts my phone rang and it was Logan.

"Hello Logan"

"I have sent the paintings to your office already" but before I could finish my sentence he said "yes, but that's not the reason I called", my heart started beating fast and I don't know why.

"Layla I would like you to go on a dinner date with me to celebrate your graduation" He says

"Please don't say no, it's a harmless date"

"Okay"

"Is that a yes?"

"Yes, I will go on a date with you"

"Thank you"

I could hear the excitement in his voice and that melted my heart, its been five months now since we entered into business and things has been going fine, so why not go on a date with him.

"Hello! Rahman, I need you to come to my house now, I'm going on a date tonight and I need you pick something for me to wear"

"Logan asked me to have dinner with him, he wants to celebrate my graduation and a successful partnership"

Rahman was quiet for a short while before breaking his silence.

"Are you sure this is the right move, remember what happened the last time you went out with him and all you said you wouldn't do with him"

"Yes, I remember, I will be fine it's an harmless dinner in a nice restaurant"

"Will you come help me or not?"

"Okay, I will be there soon, sanjil wants to come with me."

"Oh! Great, I'm expecting you both, bye"

"Oh girl you look beautiful, I don't think he will be able to take his eyes off you at all."

Logan was at the door with flowers in his hands, looking so handsome in his all black suit and curly hair and blue eyes, my heart started to race fast as I walked close to him.

"You look so beautiful," He says.

"You don't look bad yourself either"

He opened the door of his car and I entered, he kept staring at me as he was driving.

We arrived at this gigantic building, where it was boldly written Logan Hunter's, I have to ask.

"What are we doing at your office?"

"He replies! it's a surprise, today is a special day"

We took the elevator to the rooftop and there I saw a helicopter waiting for us to arrive. I was so shocked that he would go all out for me.

"Wow, I think this is too much"

"Nothing is too much for you," He says.

"I have reservations already"

We entered into the helicopter, he helped me with the seat belt and headphones and we flew out of the city and landed at the rooftop of a beautiful restaurant, the interiors so beautiful.

"Wow, that's my piece on the wall"

"Yes, I sold it to them, they have places like this all over the country, come sit down let's eat"

We were at the finest place i've ever seen, few people in the restaurant, looking so intimate. After a few seconds of arrival a beautiful waitress walked to our table and handed us the menu. I saw a lot of food I have never eaten, it was so confusing for me to make a choice.

Logan decided to make an order for me, for a moment I felt like he read my mind.

"We will have grilled curried chicken thighs with charred-vegetable rice and a bottle of Pinot Noir" He says

The waitress walked away and Logan looked into my eyes with a big smile on his face.

"Congratulations once again on your graduation and big partnership to us"

"You shouldn't have gone to this extent doing all of these just to impress me"

"Well, are you impressed?"

"No I'm not"

He smiled again as if he had a lot on his mind and I was just getting started. The waitress brought the wine and a bowl of ice.

I haven't had such wine before and I hope he's not trying to get me drunk

"Don't worry I'm not going to get you drunk"

The meal came and we started eating, there was this weird chemistry between us, maybe because he had sex once but he kept on looking at me at every chance he got. My throat got tighter, my hands became moist, and I couldn't eat properly although the food was really nice.

"Layla McDermott, I want us to be more than friends, partner, whatever we are now, I just want us to be more, I can't stop myself from thinking about you,I know my father did some bad things to your family but I'm not my father, I can never hurt you, I am in love with you" He's says.

I was dumb founded I didn't know know what to say, my silence kills him but still a lot was going through my mind.

"Logan Hunters, I love you but I can't seem to look past what your father did to my family, I don't know how  but I think we can figure it out."

He let out a big smile and gave me a long kiss, we left the restaurant and went back to his house. We started kissing from the elevator, his body pressed against mine while his hands cupped my bosom tightly, we ended up in his bedroom with our clothes flying everywhere, it was the best night of my life, I saw another side of him as we made love over and over again. Soon it became morning, I woke up to the sound of runny water, still trying to understand the situation Logan came out from the bathroom.

"Good morning sunshine, how was your night?"

"You don't have to answer that because I know we're both tired from last night"

He came close gave me a kiss on my forehead, and then said

"The bath tub is ready let's go take our bath"

He's eyes given the signal of other things that is to happen in there and I am so down for it, I haven't still recover from last night.

After one hour of loving making and bathing we finally decided to go out for breakfast but still we couldn't get our hands off each other, we were acting like two teenagers who fell in love for the first time.

I couldn't stop thinking about Logan and everything that happened the previous night, I couldn't wait to tell Rahman about what happened last night.

I have been trying to reach Rahman all morning but it went straight to voicemail, I became very worried, this has never happened before.

"I need to go to his house to see if everything is already" I said to myself.

Got to his apartment building but still his number wasn't able to reach me. I knocked on the door and a voice answered from within it was sanjil's.

The moment he opened the door I knew something was wrong.

"Sanjil, are you okay?"

"Where is Rahman? I have been trying to reach him all day his number is going straight to voicemail"

Sanjil was quiet for a while but then he broke the silence.

"I have been betrayed by Rahman, I gave me all of me but he wasn't completely honest with me from the jump"

I was a bit confused I didn't have any idea of what he was talking about, I have known Rahman for the longest and I don't know what his talking about.

" I don't understand, what's happened?"

" I just discovered that Rahman is Bi" Sanjil says.

I was perplexed, I didn't know what to say to that, I have always known Rahman to be gay not Bi, it's a bit shocking to me, I didn't know how to react to Sanjil.

"Where is Rahman?"

"I don't know, he left the house and hasn't returned since," he says.

"Okay, I'll go look for him, just hang in there"

I think I know where Rahman might be, so I drove to the art gallery. Rahman has always loved art in his words "art is peace" and there he was staring at a painting. I walked up to him and sat by his side.

There we were lost in thought, I not knowing what to say or where to start from but I had to say something.

"Do you remember the first time I showed you my painting?"

"You looked at me and said girl you're going places with this."

"Yeah, look at you now you're already going places" He says.

"I have been trying to reach you  all morning. It went straight to voicemail. I got worried and had to go to your place and Sanjil told me everything."

"Why didn't you say something?"

"I tried to tell you but I needed to be there for you so I had to put my feelings aside just to be there for you." He says.

"You don't have to put this on me, you could have just say something"

"Okay, between you whining about how stressful your life is and Logan drama, tell me how am I suppose to tell you I am fucking Bi".
