167. Life Line

Alice sent him a grateful look before clearing her throat, “What are those pictures Alexander? Who is she? I want to know everything”, Alice asked.

Alexander swallowed hard and nodded his head. Last time he'd seen Aria Freeman was one of the worst night of his life. That experience had scarred him since that night and he looking forward to never meeting her. His first thought was how embarrassed she felt because she avoided eye contact with him. She was avoiding his glance like batteries with their matching poles held together, how their gazes just can't quite meet up and slide rapidly away from each other, but he can't find a wording for the tension between them.
